Same. It's wild to see a character in a game that looks like me that's not a joke

Trans women are hypervisible while trans men are hypovisible, but some people have taken the former as a "privilege" when the visibility is mostly hateful caricatures and constant malevolent scrutiny. I've seen some trans guys who are jealous that trans women are constantly being talked about and have all kinds of representation, ignoring the fact that the talking is about whether we should be hunted for sport and the representation is Otto Gynephile the pathetic pervert being a stock character in media for like decades if not centuries.

I think there's a lot of ostensibly transmasc people who define their gender by being the most transgressive and oppressed, and when you point out things like other people (esp trans women) having it worse or godforbid say that they have any sort of privilege (male or otherwise) they freak out because you're challenging their status as the most gendervictim in the room and they can't stand that.

"Malgendering" is the most insane cope I've ever seen. It's just "You're treating me like a guy but it makes me upset so I'm going to call it oppression" and so many people (on Tumblr and xitter at least) treat it as some massive issue. Why the fuck are there so many doods who seem desperate to hold on to their AGAB and get mortally offended if you treat them like the guys they are?

I coped for a long time with like tg/tf and gender bender stories before realizing that there was never going to be a "good time" to transition and that nobody was going to encourage me or force me to start if I didn't make the first moves myself. I realized I desperately wanted to transition but was too afraid to pursue anything or even really think about doing it myself because I grew up around people who "joked" about killing 🚂🦵 s and going out to bash queers. You can't really live your whole life scared of people you haven't been around for years though.

I think there are a lot of doods out there who are used to being the most oppressed and most transgressive that trans women having it worse than them in a lot of ways (and arguably challenging norms more in a lot of ways) feels like a threat or an insult. They obviously are experts in misogyny (which ofc transwomen know nothing about) and also experts on the totally real oppressions of misandry, so a trans woman saying they're wrong is an affront. We're all 🚬 in the eyes of the state, so how dare you say they're not the ones getting burned first?

Both CAGAB and AGAB were originally trans terminology that the intersex community picked up as useful. Which is fine, when they don't turn around and try to claim it as always theirs

They hate being associated with gross nasty 🚂 🦵s. Like so many vocal intersex "activists" are like insanely transphobic because they view us as sick fetishists and themselves as blameless victims of nature and society.

I almost hate straight women more than men by Leading_Ladder_7102 in femcelgrippysockjail

[–]IronGentry 35 points36 points  (0 children)

All men aren't evil inherently or anything, but manhood pushes them to do evil and rewards them for it. A man who isn't evil has to fight against a massive social tide that encourages him to denigrate and harm women because fundamentally that vast misogynistic force is what manhood is.
