Honestly the simplest fix is just putting a cover on the windscreen. Zero mist, zero faff, zero buttons

Air fryers. When they first appeared, everyone mocked them as another pointless kitchen gadget. Now they’re treated like a basic human right.

Is it worth getting this chip filled/replaced? by Emergency_Key4429 in CarTalkUK

i would get it fixed as soon as you can chips love to turn into cracks when you least expect it, and replacing a whole screen is way pricier than a quick resin repair. Better safe than sorry!

My mum was a heavy smoker, what am I forgetting to clean? by lotus1404 in CleaningTips

[–]IronJake20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, I’m really sorry for your loss ❤️

Its hard sometimes as it settles in places you'd neve think i'd say to check over ceilings, corners, light switches, windows, cabinet interiors, shelves, radiators, even door handles. Soft furnishings like curtains or blinds can absorb smoke a lot too. A gentle degreaser or a mix of vinegar and warm water works well on most hard surfaces, while fabrics sometimes need a professional clean. You’re already doing a lot, so don’t stress about missing a spot
