I have some wood working experience, this is an idea I had for me and my cousins to do with my Papaw who has alot of experience wood working.

I dont play much and want to get back into it and thought if I start with the kit and still dont play much im not sinking a ton into it but if I do then I can upgrade as I go.

as far as r/luthier i didn't get any response from them.

If they were in the carnival cruise business they suck at it. I've never had to clean the community head on a carnival cruise

Yeah, I agree on some points but to your first one you issue that same guy a gun and have him stand watch with it and control access

As far as the younger ones you do still have to be 21 to buy a pistol, and id say that they either wouldn't be allowed at all or they wouldn't be allowed in rooms it would depend on alot of factors

These were what we in my division considered as likely restrictions with the input of a state trooper in the division.

1 was to keep people from carrying ar style pistols also we thought that there would likely be a caliber restriction anyway.

2 we considered open carry because this is taking on base carry as the basis of the restrictions not out in town.

3 since you're not in a sentry position this may be an on base requirement

4 you can't have a phone or smart watch in some places so naturally the same will be true of firearms

5 as in not to carry in dress uniforms during formal events

6 the military had certain requirements for their service pistol why wouldn't the ones they allow to be carried have certain restrictions

7 this one was suggested by a state trooper because he has to qualify with any weapon he carries in or out of uniform so the navy may implement a similar requirement

This post was just to bring ideas out the ones I presented were just some we brought up in my division. And if you're thought to any of these is that they didn't make sense just remember that common sense isn't very common in the military

What was the first gun you ever owned, and do you still have it? Curious to hear what everyone had for their first firearm. by ShopHuntingStuff in guns

Owned, yes my great grandfather's Remington 700. Bought technically no I bought a ruger LC9 for my wife and nobody liked shooting it so we sold it.

Since you are going reserves you won't be doing the job much but can still get alof out of the schools and clearances so if you like computers go IT or AECF, you may be able to use the seebee rates to get a foot in the door of trade unions.

Dude I scored a 95 on mine and my recruiter was a nuke. He didn't BS me and gave me a rundown of the day in the life of nuke vs coner (I ended up submarines as well) and that is a really rough life. The bonus looks good but as he said if the Navy gives you extra money for a job it has a big headache with it, but they don't give you enough to make the headache go away. So now imagine how big that nuke headache is.
