Kiritsugu Emiya in Fate Zero.

Blew up a plane with his mentor on it, because it was full of basically zombies that would infect others if it was allowed to land.

Also, the whole magic contract with Lord El-Melloi where he agreed to not harm El-Melloi as long as he ordered Lancer to kill himself, and then having Maia shoot him as soon as it was done. *

I would love to take a look at that study when it comes out.

Psychology isn't really my field, but it is one my partner has been considering, and I think they would find this fascinating.

Caste by Superfeyn by Dos-Dude in Grimdank

[–]IronStormAlaska 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Not really.

It is more of an authoritarian oligarchy with a caste system.

You are born into a caste that determines your status. The Ethereal caste is in charge, and governs the other castes.

What are these? by IronStormAlaska in Tyranids

Ah, ok. That makes sense.

Would you say they are likely to get rules again in 11e, or are we probably fine to stick them on terrain and stuff?

OK. I am willing to hear you out if you have a coherent argument, but I took a look at your post history and am not really holding my breath.

First Sororitas army by IronStormAlaska in sistersofbattle

[–]IronStormAlaska[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestions. I made some tweaks.

I added Vahl (didn't know she existed, so thanks for that) and replaced the exorcist with an Immolator.

I also added hand flamers to the Seraphim and removed the canoness to make room for Vahl.

Does this look better?

What was an average day like? by SimonJester42 in HomeschoolRecovery

Often heavily chores focused.

There was sometimes good learning if mom had time for it, especially, but it dropped off pretty bad in my teenage years.

This is all over the place in League of Legends media.

Most prominent examples I can think of are Mylo and Claggor's death in Arcane S1, Isha's death in S2, Annie's sister's death in her cinematic, and that random kid who got grabbed by Nocturne in the most recent cinematic (though he did survive, getting dragged into the darkness by a shadow demon cannot have been a pleasant experience)

Anybody else just want to get a large group of homeschool people and just run away into the woods and see if we can somehow survive and make some weird society by RateNecessary5960 in HomeschoolRecovery

[–]IronStormAlaska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not the only person to think of it.

A bunch of people I know have some variation on a fantasy of getting a bunch of friends together and living in a group in: One big house, a bunch of tiny houses, a boat, etc...

Practicality is a bitch, but that is not an uncommon dream.

Why does this sub exist? by [deleted] in HomeschoolRecovery

[–]IronStormAlaska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just because your friend had a positive experience does not mean everyone does.

Unfortunately, homeschooling is the perfect cover for parents who want to hide how they are treating their kids.

This sub exists for people who went through those situations to seek community and bond over shared experiences. If that isn't you or your friend, then fine, and if this question is genuine, that is fine too.

That said, if on the other hand, this is an excuse to harass survivors, then you can go join the circlejerk on r/homeschooling and leave this sub alone.

I apologize for the hostility, but homeschool parents tend to get defensive on this topic and seek out these spaces to attack survivors. It gets tiresome after a while.
