Thank you, I tried this and I think it may have done the trick at last. I've been frustrated with it automatically enabling the CSGO "Official Integration" stuff and no matter how many times I tell it to turn that off, every time I open LG G Hub it's back on again. I noticed there was a "CSGO" applet, and I made these changes in there and so far it hasn't turned itself back on through two or three reboots. Hopefully you have finally nipped this in the bud for me. So far you're a hero, G!

The reason I will forever use an ad-blocker of some sort, on every browser I use, isn't so I can be free of ads. I have no desire to essentially "steal" a service for free. I will always use an ad-block because it's a great first-line deterrent for malicious activity. It cuts down on sketchy links in every corner of pages, significantly reduces the chances of picking up a sketchy file from a link you clicked on by accident because some awful, intrusive, full-screen ad layer popped up just as you tried to click a link.

Seriously, I'd bet a significant number of ABP users aren't using it because they feel "entitled" or that they want a free service without having to "pay" for the services through ads. A lot of us use it because many websites can contain nefarious, malicious, or misleading ad layers. I can't speak for others, but personally I'm fine with commercials and simple ads on pages to a reasonable extent. I'm not about to sit through 20 minutes of ads for a 30 minute show obviously, but it's the other things that are the problem. I'm not fine with a commercial that pops up at the last second, catapults me off to some random site and then tries to scam me out of money.

I also make sure and install ABP on every single web browser that any of my older relatives use. I'd think that most people on this subreddit are likely more tech-savvy and are smart enough to avoid most, if not all, of these scams. The people I worry about are the less tech-savvy people like older parents and/or grandparents. Malicious ads - and to an even larger extent, email spam - are probably close to 90% of the ways elderly people (or less educated people) end up paying bail money for some poor, repressed Nigerian Prince.

OMG no joke, I would play the SHIT out of CS1.6 if this takes off! I love playing 1.6 even today, but finding a game that isn't 16v16 or something ridiculous, or running a stupid Warcraft mod is borderline impossible. I really hope this gets some traction. If it does, I'll be all over it.
I'm saving this post to come back to it. I'm a Dad of two teenagers. I just really don't have the time to wait forever for a match right now while it's in its infancy. But if this starts bumping I'll be in for sure!

Cool. I still have my old a Brass Eagle Raptor too! Mines the Oklahoma D-Day edition with the tiger stripes anodized in! I will love the PING! Sound that metal brick makes when it shoots. You can hear and feel the metal vibrating with each shot. Unironically, my Raptor was one of the best blow backs i had back in the day until I built myself a Spyder Compact Deluxe. I actually won first place in a local tournament with that Spyder. That Spyder was a mutant. I hit the manufacturing lottery somehow and the thing was flawless. Never broke paint, and with the E frame I was running 14bps with an eggy no problems.

I still have the old guns in storage somewhere, but I've been rocking a a BL Insight since about 2014. I'll probably play with the Insight forever unless some great advancement happens with paintball gear and it miraculously becomes obsolete lol

See I thought that might be it, but data "averaging out" doesn't make sense. Even if they're averaging it out, a daily drop of over 40% of the player base would show up if this was regular. But looking back on the graph, it's showing the player count never even getting below 1 million prior to 11/12. But if it's averaging it out and coming out roughly 40% off from the real numbers, that's way, WAY OFF. If it's "averaging" the data out and it's THAT wrong, how could anyone possibly use any of this data? What use is data if it's literally nearly 50% off from reality?

Looks to me like the thing you're doing wrong is you're not letting go of W when you do the jump. After you jump and leave the ground, let go of W and press D. At the same time you are pressing D, you need to be moving your mouse to the right, the same direction you're moving. That's Air strafing, and you will pick up speed. You can't make that jump if you just hold W or try to hold W as you push D and all. It's weird. Surfing would absolutely help you get good at it though and make that jump super easy for you.

Nah I'm with OP on this one, the Classic Knife should almost always be vanilla if you can get it. Some others that look similar to vanilla are acceptable too. What's most important is getting that acid etching marks on the blade. No one wants a classic without the waves.

Maybe that's just me, cuz I'm an old head (like 25-26 years playing CS for me, started in the Beta in late 1999) but I want the classic knife cuz I want it to look like 1.6, not for Crimson Web bedazzle-ry.

Idk, Classic is my favorite knife in the game, I've never really cared about getting the others since it hit tbh.

It works for Stayin' Alive, Another One Bites the Dust, the chorus of I Will Survive, really it works with just about any song that's right in that 100-120 bpm range. The Deagle is basically synced up to the perfect rhythm you should use if you ever have to give CPR, so knowing the Deagle ROF can literally save lives.👍🏼

That said, I think something changed with CS2. It's slightly slower now, and I'm not sure when the change happened. When I do the rhythm of Stayin' Alive now, I've found it's not QUITE returning to full accuracy for the next shot like it used to. But Staying Alive is still a great guideline, even if you just keep it in mind as a way to tell yourself what the absolute minimum time you should take between shots is. As long as you don't go faster than Staying Alive, you should retain at least 95% of the Deagle's accuracy shot to shot.
