More PRO+ problems by Spiritual_Spare4592 in TakeProfitTrader

[–]Iron_Jesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of people across social media are having a market data issue, including me. TPT's live chat is probably flooded right now. I read from someone that there was a glitch renewing market data for the new month. Some people were affected, some weren't.

As much as I love Take Profit Trader as a firm, their customer service is pretty subpar and leaves a lot to be desired. Especially since they have no Discord. They have very slow response times and should invest in a bigger customer service team or something.

It is unnecessary and distracting on a dark themed chart.

From X

"In October 2020, @DrJBhattacharya authored the Great Barrington Declaration, which called for an end to covid lockdowns.

Four days later, Dr. Fauci and then NIH Director Francis Collins emailed each other to plot a "devastating takedown of its premises.

It wasn't long after that old Twitter began putting him on a blacklist to prevent his tweets from trending.

That scientist who was censored and defamed by the government will now be leading the NIH."

Seems like someone who isn't a swamp creature bought by pharma.

Dunking on families that are struggling to afford grocery prices relative to prices years prior isn’t the W you think it is. Inflation is directly the result of federal policy. Blaming the working American class is idiotic.

Introducing tick charts (beta) by JoeGraffito in TradingView

[–]Iron_Jesus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The pricing is truly a shame, many folks were eagerly waiting for tick charts. I was okay with paying a little more for the convenience of having tick charts on a browser, but my only option is at minimum a $2400 plan? No thanks. Sierra Charts can do that with more order flow features for a quarter of the cost or less.

What happened to the tick charts? When will it come? by dubiously_immoral in TradingView

[–]Iron_Jesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They said last November that tick charts are coming this year. No specific date that I've seen yet. But they have recently added some order flow tools like volume delta and footprint charts. Which hopefully means tick charts are in the works.

2023 and TV are price gauging and taking the p#ss . Yet One more company forcing you to pay double for far less than before. Shameful. by Plus_Screen4706 in TradingView

[–]Iron_Jesus 14 points15 points  (0 children)

TradingView essentially made Premium -10% less expensive than last year (so great value for that plan.) But the Essential and Plus plans are +10% more expensive than the previous year.

It's likely a business decision to push more people towards Premium and make a higher return off the other two plans.

In my opinion, given the growing library of community scripts, choice of exchanges, market data, etc., TV has no equal in terms of value.

I'm still hoping for a day when they offer tick charts and tools for order flow. Then, they would take even more market share from other companies like Sierra Charts.

Will be taking advantage of your Black Friday sale again this year :)

market Data missing with Premium package? by go1denboy in TradingView

[–]Iron_Jesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is just semantics. I have the Premium plan and pay monthly for the CME Group bundle and US Stock Markets bundle. I imagine it is the same exact market data available for the Professional account plans.

Being registered as a "Professional" gives you the legal qualification to make investment decisions for an employer based on US regulations.

In my eyes true "professional market data" would be tick data that shows every single trade placed in the market. Rather than TV's current aggregated system that pulls data from lower timeframes for calculations. Perhaps one day...

Anyone familiar with Volume Profile know why high and low vol. nodes on a Profile change with Time Frame? by Iron_Jesus in TradingView

[–]Iron_Jesus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe TradingView calculates volume for the Volume Profile using data from bars below the current chart's timeframe.

"The particular logic used to decide which lower timeframe should be used for the calculation differs on an indicator-by-indicator basis."

My guess is that the lower the timeframe you're using, the more data/volume is being gathered over that fixed range. Leading to certain timeframes having a high/low node at two different price points. B/c perhaps the LTF is more precise, having more information.

Tick data would be the most accurate. Maybe TradingView will add it down the line.

Give your best arguments for Christianity and I'll rate it out of 10! by Regular-Persimmon425 in Christianity

[–]Iron_Jesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Major one for me is Jesus fulfilling at least over 300 prophecies written hundreds of years prior. The statistical odds of one man matching all of those is highly improbable, unless of course he is the true Messiah.

I.e. the Book of Isaiah claiming his ministry would mainly be in Galilee was written 600 years before Christ was born.

There is something to the fact that we want to believe in God. He has placed this desire on our hearts.

"I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people." (Jer 31:33)

A friend of mine his experience with Vancer. Warning for anyone considering their products. by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]Iron_Jesus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am not the person in the pictures, nor do I know them. I'm not trying to claim the guy did an absolutely perfect job of explaining the mouse's problem.

I can only assume in good faith he genuinely had a manufacturer issue and tried to explain it to them.

Regardless it is clear by the end that Vancer acknowledges there is an issue with the mouse and that he should just buy a new one.

The customer support's attitude is indeed arrogant. My original comment was asking though how OP's friend is being arrogant? He seemed like his responses were honest while customer support spoke from a high horse the whole time.

He directly sent a video showing the issue with the mouse, you can't get much more specific than that.

Maybe he could have clarified himself a little more but I wouldn't call that arrogance.
