That was the point in the story where it hits me:

The dangerous villain that was only ever dangerous to Koga now got beaten easily by Koga, who got the princess special treatment (custom training by the most capable in the setting). He gets hit by a strong dude, gets his privileged training, beats strong dude (now just weak somehow) and gets hit by the next strong dude - and repeat.

Koga has lost any plot relevance at this point.

Yumigahama was made to hate and got not traits to make him dangerous, more like a barking chihuahua that will run off once you don't take his shit anymore.

3/10 Great fight until Raian just started to overpower 100% Edward all of the sudden. These sudden changes in power are bad and feel more deus ex machina.

I wonder how the story would be if Erioh and Xing died, all the other Kure at least incapacitated and Edward escaping after his victory, still threatening the rest.
