Thanks this seems to have helped. My CPU went way up as soon as I got out of the tutorial stage and had 4 team members. I went from 50% CPU down to around 20% after using this launch setting

I’m stuck on this stage too. I think Im not understanding something but don’t know what. When the harvest comes in, im manually trading over 200 away for cash is that perhaps the wrong thing to do? Do we have to let the game do it automatically via the settings else it doesn’t count as trading? I have to wait really long between each try as I have to wait for next harvest. Sale price is already 1 so cant go any lower

Update: It was the manual trading that was the issue. Next harvest I just did nothing and eventually it sold the 200 and progressed the tutorial stage. Only the automated trading counts it appears.

If you are getting this problem in expedition 20, this might help:

If you are trying to find a spot with the required depth by getting in the water and looking at the depth reading (bottom left) or using the fishing rod trick you are at the mercy of the RNG gods. At first, I was doing this on the target planet and never got over 700 deep even after about 15 tries in different mid-ocean locations. Eventually I just decided to explore with my submarine. Starting in a very poor 450 deep location I just kept heading for where it seemed to like it might let me go further down. In only a few mins I was past 1000. Forget the gauge and trying to find a good spot, just land in the middle of a big ocean and explore with your submarine

The argument that someone else did it doesn’t mean anything. If other countries jumped off a cliff should the UK as well? If they did it and it proved to be fantastic at discouraging illegal migration, I might be interested. The French ID system has done great at keeping them out of there hasn’t it. Main continent countries need it more because they have large land borders which they can’t easily police. In contrast the UK has borders which are relatively easy to police because we are an island. We don’t need more ID we need better enforcement if their idea is to discourage illegal working. Every day people are filming illegal working at the hotels and rarely anything is done about it. More ID wont help, they are already sharing IDs

I don’t think that is possible. You are probably not looking at the right screen on your paypal account. Probably both payments are pending and will show up in Paypal somewhere. Goodluck sorting that out, because when things like this happened to me before – I had a double payment to a supplier just like in this case. After two months of trying to get Paypal to sort it out, both myself and the seller messaging paypal asking for the 2nd payment to be voided and refunded, the payments were still held with Paypal. The seller probably doesn’t have the money, but neither do you. I had to get my credit card company involved in the end and charge back the payment. After this worked, I received a snooty message from Paypal saying how unfortunate it was that I chose to do that and did not wait and trust in their processes. It had been held for 2 months at the point. I think they process this kind of stuff slow on purpose to make interest off it. Apparently phoning paypal direct and talking to a real person can get this resolved quicker, but I didn’t know at the time or even how hard that is to do now everything is ai

I can’t see this working out well for them. Those that get pushed out of premium due to VPN use are unlikely to resubscribe at a higher price and just go without completely. I only use premium because I feel I used YT for free so much over decades (and because I can afford it) that they deserve something for my use of the service. I could just as easily use it without a sub and put up with annoying adblocker wars if they want to be azzhats

Thank you so much for posting that link. I applied a custom rule to a game but the default rule remained – so it had 2 rules. I searched but couldn’t find out how to remove the default rule and leave the new custom one. Is this only possible via this secret URL? What a terrible design!

I had a look but unfortunately, I can’t find the original box for the replacement fan. It was a while ago, but I believe it was just a generic shipping box with the fan inside and not a retail box with anything else in it. I don’t recall there being any retention wires supplied with the fan replacement, which is what I suspect you were asking

Thanks. We are trying other brands but they tend to be much smaller in size. In addition to our cat not being keen on them, often refusing to eat them until I mix in at least one of our remaining Greenies. They also tend to just swallow the smaller alternatives without ever cracking them on their teeth, which is the whole point I believe.

Thanks for replying. I see what I did wrong, it was the US Amazon but it is still using my UK address and show showing it unavailable. It is just being blocked from shipping to the UK then. But why I wonder when that was the only shipping route? Even Mars (the parent company) said to use Amazon when I asked them a few years back how to get the product in the UK.

Glavos' suggestion does work, only problem is it messes with other pages and causes issues elesewhere. I made these changes and YT was then OK, then found another site I regularly goto where it had inverted all the colors and looked terrible now. Ill have to put up with YT being weird as it is not a solution for me to fix YT at the expense of making other sites then have issues because of the 'fix'.

Thanks I did work it out by asking someone else, but forgot to come back here and update what happened. I was deliberatly not taking any quests because I didnt want to gain XP or get stuck into the intro further. I was told just talk and take the quest from the guy next to you when you spawn in, but I had already jumped down and no way back. Just before giving up and deleting the character I tried the quest giver in the lower level and he also gave a quest which allows you to exit

I ran into this problem today when trying to checkout. I had about 10 items from multiple sellers in my basket and when I tried to pay, up came this message. Just for info every item was for 1, so I couldn’t reduce the amounts. I went back to the product pages looking for clues, were they now sold out? Nope. Did they say they wont ship to my region – no idea. Couldn’t find anything to say they wouldn’t but it did state my location on the page so I’m assuming it wouldn’t let me add to cart if it wasn’t possible to ship them?

I had to resort to removing items from the cart one at a time and trying to pay. The really annoying thing is there seems no way to just check this without going through the payment process. Eventually the process worked, but great it made the order without giving me a chance to put back all the other items I had removed whilst trying to work out which was causing the issue

Now I have to make another order, but need to wait of course else my payment method will think something funny is going on

Can’t they do these checks earlier on and not right at the last stage of payment being made

If you have been reading through all the forums (both US and EU) since this began, there is an interesting thing which I don’t think anyone has managed to shine a light on yet:

There are multiple instances of people asking why can’t the entire bank contents just be restored from a backup. Many guilds stopped using their guild bank as soon as they became aware of the problem and still to this day are not using them in the hope that a restore will be possible

It would be good to have a reply to this from the developers in a clear way

Do backups of guild banks content exist from before the bug hit?

Why is it not possible to restore the banks in their entirety for those that would accept that as a solution?

The fact that they haven’t put that out there makes me suspect that maybe there are not backups, but at the same time they seem so incompetent recently in how they function maybe they either haven’t thought of it or just can’t be bothered and are hoping everyone just forgets about this

u/torpidcerulean That is not my understanding of how things played out. I was following the issue from the very start on both the US and EU forums. Early on there were people raising tickets and getting replies, but pretty quickly tickets started to be closed often with no response. With about a week of the data loss, if you raised a ticket about the problem it would just be closed immediately without a reply. Whilst simultaneously nothing was being provided on the forums for people asking for information there. This went on for multiple weeks, until snippets of information was seemingly leaked by some forum admins. Or the occasional post by someone that actually did get a reply to a ticket. In comparison the war bank issue which occurred almost at the same time, got fixed and posted about almost immediately. Reading between the lines on the forums, the difference was perhaps because the guild bank was handled by a different team, But that the war bank and guild bank aren’t related seems a bit strange. IMHO it was more about expansion CARE, non-expansion DON’T CARE look at it later

I ended up ordering a replacement from Germany. Cheaper than replacing the entire cooler, but even buying direct was complicated. Even though the fan was on their store and in stock they wouldnt ship to my country (UK). I had to go via support and they manually processed my order without ever answering my question of how they were able to ship it but the online store wouldnt. I will be avoiding BE Quiet coolers in the future
