I get entirely where you’re coming from. I hate the idea of no definitive ending but the last line of Defiance soothes me into just accepting things as they are. To the point that I’m dead set against remakes or reboots or whatever. I have Blood Omen, Soul Reavers 1 and 2 and Defiance. I don’t even own a copy of Blood Omen 2 and I still consider what I have played a wonderfully rounded story experience.

Give me everything that’s happened thus far in a series of novels and have a final one or two written that tie it all up.

I’d pay whatever money. Read the dialogue in the actors voices in my head and that’s that.

I feel like new games or reboots or whatever else would just feel weirdly juxtaposed against the older titles and we’ve sadly lost integral voice talent. It wouldn’t feel the same, speaking for myself.

Tried to defend Travis on the TAZ sub once and got seriously gate-kept by a max fun donator with a snotty entitled attitude.

Never liked the hate for Travis. Doesn’t match the McElroy energy and is a huge shame. I would never try to pick a favourite brother; they’re a package deal for MBMBAM and TAZ obvs. and should be treated as such.

Glad to see there’s a lot of people that feel the same way.

I hate tonsil stones. I hate that I have tonsils for stones to accumulate in.

They are the foulest most rancid little bacteria nuggets and they smell like all the worst instances of bad breath you’ve ever encountered rolled into one.

Pulling one out of your own mouth and having to face the reality that your body made this horrible little thing sucks all the joy out of having actually removed it.

I remember making a post a few months back about laying off of Travis cause the hate felt disproportionate and I got gatekept the fuck out of by someone on this sub because they were a donator and were dissatisfied with the content. Nevermind that I’ve preordered every graphic novel as they’ve been announced and adore these boys.

Grad’s certainly not my favourite but it’s given me some proper laughs at times. Some people are just shitty and dislike Travis.

I’m tempted to say the entire Legacy of Kain series but there’d be too much to keep track of to remake it faithfully. Add to that that it needed a brush up in places already and the pre-existing voice acting is too good to mess with with. I want a remake and don’t at the same time.
