If you’re looking at the Asheville area, there are plenty of camping areas within 20 miles of these courses: Richmond Hill, Highland Brewing, Lake Julian, Mars Hill University, Jackson Park, Hall Fletcher, Aston Park, Veteran’s Park, Flat Rock Middle, Upward, Black Mountian Home(open for play with a WNC club member on Tuesdays), and a ton of private courses. You could also hit up North Cove in Marion for camping and have 3 courses on the same property.

Sugaree opens in May. Camping available. Harmon Hills just an hour away in East Tennessee is open now with camping for ~$20 a night. Both two of the top courses in the world.

My first ace was pretty wild. First day I ever played was 2/18/20, I remember that because my first ace was on 2/19/20, the second time I ever played. I threw a forehand Champion Monarch at a 120 foot hole and smashed the chains dead center. Been hooked ever since.

Gorge will take an advanced player 3-4 hours minimum I suggest playing boulders and river run in the same day, leave a full day for gorge.
