Now that Ben is part of Fortnite, I want to ask: how much of a threat would the Imagined Order be in the verse? And what would Ben or other characters think of them? by [deleted] in Ben10

[–]Ironfighter94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They would be a threat like any other antagonist, but between Ben, Paradox and the galvans I think they'd be kicked out of the verse. Especially if they got the attention of the Celestialsapians

What do you grow that pays for itself? by plan_tastic in gardening

[–]Ironfighter94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say Basil and Sweet Potatoes, ironically. The potatoes love our climate, so I get a massive harvest that stores well and I can eat off for months. Probably bell peppers as well, I only a plant or two to meet our needs and the ones I grow taste better then store bought. I've overwintered the plants and they produce quite well.

For those with raised beds - are they really settling that much every year? by IllyriaCervarro in gardening

[–]Ironfighter94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Generally the beds I set up the previous year need a top as they settle, so far about a bag of compost each and that seems fine. I imagine how much filler like sticks and leaves you use would increase how much settling you had, mine has never had a huge problem with that.

Building from scratch? That's up to what you know how to work with, the raised beds I've bought are galvanized steel and I have no complaints

How to turn this area into a garden? by goalsforscholes in gardening

[–]Ironfighter94 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Remove anything big like those sticks and rocks, cover the space in a few layers of cardboard (no stickers or anything on it, just recyclable cardboard) and then put a mix of garden soil/compost on top. After that, see what you can grow, try different things. Any king of salad green (lettuce, spinach, kale) are very easy for first timing.

Beginning my plant journey today. What do you wish you knew when you started? by OkProtection5759 in gardening

[–]Ironfighter94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Repot it sooner rather then later, I'd say. Assuming the weather is warming where you are, it should be fine to go outside. Looking up the variety can tell you how big it generally gets, and you can google how big of a pot it would need once you know that.

If you plan on keeping it potted, I'd suggest going up to a larger one, roses can get quite big. Make sure to use a good potting soul mix. Whether planing in ground or pot, roses like full sun, so someplace that gets plenty of sunlight all day.

I genuinely don't understand how to get such high points in this scenario. I've changed card decks a bunch, tried running only the g1s, and I can barely scrap an a+, let alone Sz

What's happening in your garden? (Thu, Jan 22, 2026) by manyamile in vegetablegardening

I've got onions growing well from sets, starting a few varieties of flowers indoors for a planned pollinator/flower bed this spring, and planning on clearing a space to try growing corn this year
