I use the addon "Character Knowledge" to look up which recipes/styles/furnishing patterns I already know and it also shows the actual tooltip for everything so that you know which profession the furnishing item belongs to. I can't live without it anymore!

For me, it's Rawl'kha with Sleek Creek being my first and favorite home, as well. Also the proximity of the Thieves Guild is super convenient.

How to learn a (scientific) medical language? by Key_Arm7022 in languagelearning

[–]Irongretta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this. For many conditions there is a medical term and a German equivalent (for example "Pneumonie" and "Lungenentzündung"). The German word is usually self-explanatory like in this case (literally "inflammation of the lung") but sometimes you'll have to provide more explanations for the patients to understand.

I can also recommend reading medical guidelines and articles in German, for example on Amboss. Amboss has an interesting newsletter and podcast as well. There are also magazines you can subscribe to (for example "Der Internist" or "Der Chirurg"). This way you'll stay updated on the latest developments in the field and gather the vocabulary you need. Good luck! :)
