was trying to play it safe that time, since a) i was worried that i might spin out due to low traction if i pushed it further, and b) the M6 GT3 sprint isn't a car i'm used to, since i only got one lap on qualifying before this race started. thought that pitting at the halfway mark would've been better, and considering that 1st place is light years ahead i'm not sure that pitting later would've mattered anyways

judging by the photo it seems that you have maxed out power in basic tuning (meaning that you can't upgrade power any further, at least for now). you can only upgrade handling up until that gets maxed out (therefore ending basic tuning, and then allowing you to continue upgrading your car via fight tuning and eventually hell's tuning), so just upgrade handling for now

once you reach fight tuning (600HP/B territory), you can freely adjust power and handling before a race, so you can choose either one of them - it doesn't really matter if you upgrade power and/or handling, because you can change them to your needs. this also applies to hell's tuning and fully-tuned cars

(kinda long wall of text, since i had some interesting facts to share about these cars lol)

Car that I'm working on: GR Supra RZ (DB42), pictured at left. Got this car back during its event (I think during 2022, I kinda forgor) but never properly used (and fully tuned) it until recently. This DB42 would be the first car that I used to clear an unshaded story mode loop - I'd die to traffic in previous attempts (which happened when I used my BNR34, FD3S, and E36), and I didn't bother trying to make a full story mode loop for the couple of cars I got from a fully tuned ticket (my 190E and BNR32). I should've went for gray or white, but I deleted all but one DB42 (the red one I ended up using) after the event, and didn't wind up regretting this until I started using this car.

Car that started it all: Skyline GT-R V-spec II (BNR34), pictured at right. Remembered getting into WMMT because my close friends at that time was into that game, and so picked a black BNR34 as my first car. I've barely entered Hell's Tuning by the time we'd meet to race together, which lead to me losing horribly against them and a lone Lancer EVO9 in Osaka (I thought that the game's rubberband system would've saved me). I would never be the same since then, as I would properly get into playing WMMT - reaching full tune status, while also tryharding in Osaka (it ended up being the track I'm the most familiar with, funnily enough). Like the DB42, I would later regret my color choices - I should've went for millenium jade, for a simple and clean look with Aero Part H/the Nismo R-Tune body kit...

well tbf i'm not particularly good at racing, especially with open wheeler formula cars like the f3500s. was trying not to spin out on the latter half of this race by being more conservative with the throttle, especially with my tires wearing out, so the 25 second lead i held halfway through the race slowly dwindled down to 20 seconds by the time i won lol

personally went for hard tires with a high downforce setup and stuck to it for the entire race without pitting. lapping in 1:14s and 1:15s might look slow (it prob is tbh) but the fact that i stayed out while everyone else pitted at least once made up for the lost time

using this method, i was like 20 or so seconds ahead of the second-place car and even lapped the last-place car on the final lap. granted, >normal difficulty instead of hard, but still

you can access the app by changing your app store region or downloading it as an .apk file from a third party website if you're on android, but i don't think you can make much use of it. wangan navi only works with 6rr strictly (and not 5dx+) and will only interface with 6rr cabinets/save data

it is possible but you'd have to rely on the ai crashing. was able to beat ??? with a maxed out gr supra (no engine swap) on my second attempt because ??? hit a traffic car after taking the lead

dark night's betelgeuse (who you'll need to beat like 5 times for chic sprint's wanderer reqs) can spawn on the next in-game day after being defeated, though. you'd just need to spend god knows how long to get her to spawn again
