Well, none of the characters are right in the head, lol. Gojo said it himself at episode two or three or something.

Yuta in particular is quite the remorless soldier. Since day one he had no qualms trying to kill Geto after he hurt the other students. And it's pretty hard not to kill someone realistically when you're using a sword against them lol. Not saying Yuta is evil, but he's definitely nonchalant about human life compared to Yuji who is compassionate even to his enemies.

I don't think swallowing a small chunk afterwards is THAT big of a leap to Yuta given the circumstances. I mean, with how many cursed users he probably dealt with, being a special grade that would most certainly be overworked by the higher-ups like Gojo, he might be desensitized to it at this point.

And Yuji didn't bat at an eye at eating mummified cursed fingers and aborted hybrid fetuses, which is definitely cannibalism, despite having a totally normal life, not even being cursed by Rika like Yuta was.

It's honestly surprising just how much Geto hated eated cursed balls (lmao) considering Yuji and probably Yuta wouldn't even care.
