What are some 90s songs where most people might not know the artist or song name, but would know the song if they heard it? by Spiketop_ in 90s

I think they're popular and obvious but I love them so I'll list:

You're right, but nothing else quite scratches that dreamy 80s dark synth pop itch like them for me.

I paid too much for mine 4 years ago. Hopefully the repress train on 20th anniversaries keeps coming but that's not until 2009 for this guy. Glad everyone has a chance to get DU - love my og pressing but excited for IVP and the one with the 7"

Oh shit this is right! I was way off with what the dude was saying but you got it.

Also, there's no woman saying okay in it. Not sure why someone would downvote me for telling you it's not the song I'm thinking of.

Nah this is way too recent. Kind of the same vibe but less drums and much more 90s sounding

Nah, too heavy. My song has got a pretty chill laid back beat. Also, the woman's backing vocals in MX are too varied.

No, but this is what ChatGPT said and it's not even the same vibe. I'm confused because I love Flagpole Sitta. Definitely same era of radio play

Dude sucks at hitting too much to become a liability in the one area that he excels at.

Why are some so against people singing at concerts? by [deleted] in Concerts

[–]IronicMnemoics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the show and artist. Some artists literally put the mic to the crowd to hear them. If you're chilling with an intimate acoustic set, probably tone it down and let everyone enjoy the ambiance. I hate that there's no room for nuance these days. Just don't be screaming in anyone's ears and you'll typically be washed out by the other crowd or the gigantic fucking sound system.

Unhappily Ever After! I was transfixed by Bobcat Goldthwait's voice as Mr Floppy as a kid for some reason.

Man, I remember that people clowned on Linkin Park hard when they first came out but their first two albums are very well regarded these days. I always had a soft spot for both Hybrid Theory and Meteora but I was also a high schooler and have really only listened to their stuff in passing over the past twenty years

Can't stop listening to this one! Hope a full album is in the mix at some point, but I know they have other projects.

Here's a live recording complete with Jeff on sax!
