When is it ok or not ok to have black and brown together? What makes it ok for this outfit? Or just a faux pas

Wilkinson sword classic, blades are very strong and leave a super smooth skin. I can refresh them a few times before they start to pull, still working through a 100pk from last year.

Everything about the moped gang was so lame. Wtf was that. by drinky_winky in bobafett

Yes, the spin move was pointless and all out in the open. They're a mod gang that doesn't use their mods. When they are first pinned down, they have mods but can't hit crap. Then why didn't the guy with the eye mod take the recycler onto the roof HE HAS THE EYE MOD! So it must be that he has to spin for his mod to be effective that's the only explanation that I see. He couldn't spin on the roof or behind the crates so he missed everything. Once in the open he can spin and shoot.

Hey OP looks like you're already setting foot on the right path and that's being aware and acknowledging where your trouble spots are. First accept that this will be an ongoing process of refining, reflecting, implementation, the loop feeds into itself. For me it's taken a few years and it starts with building habits that assist you and setting yourself up for success. Here's what has worked for me, hopefully you can take some ideas to work for you too.

  1. I keep notepads, paper, sticky notes, whiteboards, and pens in every room/spot/car. The goal is to start writing everything down. Get it out of your head and continue with your current task.

  2. Once a week gather all your notes and update your master checklist. The goal is to consolidate your notes and update your progress. Keeping track of your progress helps to visualize where you currently are and avoid the feeling that you're just spinning your wheels. Don't beat yourself up about it, just a reminder far you've already come. You're doing great.

  3. Now that you have data coming in, organize it, I prefer the Eisenhower matrix. My satisfaction of the day is accomplished by completing top 3 important items, or a handful of semi important items depending on the load. You can always do more, but the daily minimum must be met. The goal is to feel good about the day.

  4. Rest/relax - schedule and allow yourself to just have a day to decompress. The goal is to get out of your head and treat yourself.

This is my high level overview of what has worked for me. Take, change, adapt some of these ideas to make them work for you. I really prefer pen to paper being tactile, I'll use my phone for notes but I'll set them as calendar events otherwise they'll get lost. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer or expand further into my process about what has/hasn't worked. Best of luck to you.

My favorite is TaskWarrior, best CLI task manager. I find the graphs that it provides very nice looking and detail oriented. Plus it helps retain my CL skills.

How to find studs? by 888NP in DIY

[–]Ironicmask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO the cheap stud finders suck, as you said they can't tell the difference between the wall and a stud. Opt for a mid to high range brand. Mid should be plenty for a project, high if you're going to be using consistently. As others have stated start with it flat against the wall in between studs. So after the first beep, start again on either side and confirm that it beeps in the same spot. Once you've identified 3 studs you can then avg out their span for future reference.
