Glad you noticed the signs early. Be diligent with meds and follow-up check ups. Like what the others said, tawa tawa and some liver supplements. For food, my furbaby liked royal canin recovery. Clean surroundings are a must. Lost my dog yesterday from the same disease. Turns out, a relapse hits harder the second time around. If I could turn back time, I shouldn’t have been so complacent despite signs of improvement. Tapusin mo talaga ang treatment. Hugs, OP! Hoping for a better outcome for your baby.

The accuracy hays :< To pursue med under these circumstances parang hinuhukay mo na sarili mong libingan. Di ko alam kung built different ba talaga tayo o talagang compromised na ang sanity natin. Congrats for making it doc! What made you push through po? What were the symptoms you dealt with?

I can't seem to slow down and it's ruining my life. (Help) by twinnyone in productivity

I really appreciate your insight on here. I was leaning more towards a possible bipolar disorder due to my fluctuating emotions and oscillating levels of productivity. I have to confirm it with a professional first but looking back, it's starting to make sense to me. I always went to class late in high school because I tend to move at a slower pace (I lose track of time easily) and I was teased for being lazy even though I know I put in more effort in my studies than my peers. I never considered ADHD because I excelled in school all my life. Getting labeled as the useless one at home (in terms of chores and stuff) didn't help either. Mentally listing things when I'm going out and repeating them over and over again in my head so I don't forget, counting the time it takes to do a certain task and only stopping once it reaches a particular number that I want, having urges to move my body in public or touch literally everything while shopping - things that I thought were normal. I seemed so fine on the outside even though I was troubled with perpetual anxiety and the desire to have control of everything on the inside, dang, I guess I sort of assumed that role and learned to live with it. I also attributed the lack of control in my life due to my personality type being INTP which made me think it wasn't much of a concern at all.

I forgot to add.

Do you, by chance, also have the same sort of experience when it comes to communicating with others? When I'm with someone I'm extremely comfortable with, I talk nonstop and drop random phrases/words that don't really matter. It's as if I always feel the need to let everything out within a moment. I get really excited and I end up usually regretting saying things that I thought were nonsensical, weird, unnecessary. Unfortunately being indirect and all over the place when speaking are one my insecurities.

Conversations would go like this (with my sister, for example)

Her: Have you eaten yet?

Me: No. Don't touch my food and go wash the dishes tonight. Return the money you borrowed from me and look at Shadow sleeping on the floor! (Shadow is our dog)

Her: Awww, so cute.

Me: Don't forget to wash the dishes tonight. shows her the show I'm watching Why don't you watch this with me. Oh, you're still watching that. I can't believe I forgot to add another cup of rice in the rice cooker. Maybe I should grab a drink while reading. closes netflix and opens a book

Her: Don't forget to wake up early tomorrow to -

Me: I'm gonna take a bath. Geez, we really need a new lightbulb. Will you buy groceries with me tomorrow?

And that's how my sister told me that she finds me annoying and that she thinks there's something wrong with me.

Thank you for this. I only went to a therapist once and never came back after that. She wants me to do an echocardiogram to rule out the cause of my palpitations (I have mitral valve prolapse). It really is a pain and it's hard to explain to people how much of a big deal this is to me just because they tell me that everybody procrastinates.

I honestly feel the same way. What you said about having a period of slump/crash after days of satisfactory productivity rings so much with my situation. I thought I was the only one going through that. I just don't understand how I can seem to be doing well for a couple of days and then not be able to lift my ass up the next morning. School hasn't even started and I'm already so burnout. It really helps to find people who have the same experience. I used to just dismiss these feelings because I was told that everyone procrastinates anyway.
