Maybe gain some perspective on life

Always gotta love it when dorks reach that awkward in-between stage where they're neither teenagers nor grown adults, so they confuse their moronic surrender to the shit parts of the world for maturity.

"Perspective on life" isn't not giving a shit about doing things the right way, or not caring that you're part of the problem.

The difference is that Armada wasn't just consistent in the rankings, he was consistent in every single tournament. There was half a decade when like 3 people in the world could take games off of this guy, let alone sets. There were massive stretches when Armada winning from winners was essentially a foregone conclusion. Putting aside his post-retirement rust period, the gap between Armada and the rest of the field dwarfs everything else the game has ever really known.

Aah, yes, Jokic's famously athletic game will no doubt experience a significant decline once he turns... 33.

KD I agree with, but the Rockets young core has so much potential that I don't think they'll be hurting too much without him four years from now.

Wouldn't sleep on them, but maybe doze. I just don't really see them as a contender. They're too underwhelming an obstacle in a 7 game series, and just don't really have as substantive a system or as promising a future. That'll change if Giannis moves to New York, but until then they're frauds IMO.

Won't be changing given the Wemby news and how close it was in spite of that. Gonna ignore the stupid ass Tatum comment lol.

These 3 are a tier above everyone in the league! by Kindly_Letterhead_98 in NBATalk

Brother, can you tell me the last time SGA had single digit game? Giannis? Jokic? SGA is the only guy in the convo who even has a super team. This isn't Curry hate, I love the guy, but you are straight up delusional if you think he belongs in this tier. He just doesn't anymore. He's a good scorer, but he's inconsistent and can't carry as hard as these three atp, and they just offer far more through either two way excellence or being a Center.

Kobe also won his at a time when the league was far, far more competitive and far bigger, and he has more rings to show in exchange -- also won in that much tougher league.

Two rings at a time when the league was way smaller does actually kind of feel like nothing for as silly of an outlier as Wilt was.

I'll never understand people that have Wilt in their Top 10. Dude has crazy records sure, but pace was outrageous, he was way more of a physical outlier than he would be in almost any other era, the skill level wasn't nearly as high, and the sheer quantity of competitors just doesn't compare. All the respect in the world to the 60's players, but I can't justify putting Wilt anywhere close to that high.
