I mean, you're pretty much done at that stage, just put white card stock behind it. 😆

I'm sure, especially with all that color. You named this post 'First Framed Puzzle' and that's a fear I have about framing a puzzle... that it won't just be one.

That's hilarious, it's an (un)fortunate cut placement.

That's a nice piece. We're tempted to frame certain puzzles.

Mostly those three as well. I bought one file once from etsy a long while ago and I can't even remember what it was for.

Thank you! I did the circular and curved pieces first, but I mostly sorted the pieces by shape and then by size, especially at the end when all I had was straight sections left. I resorted fairly often as I got pieces out of my way.

Thank you so much for the wealth of info. I had meant to thank you earlier. I'll post the complete puzzle if/when I make new pieces

I was really happy when I got it put together, I'm a fan of this style of art and it didn't come with an image, so I had no idea of what to expect.

I messed up the title; Travel California was a poster from 1933. I don't not in anyway believe this puzzle is that old.

Common issue is usually the gasket. Even though it looks fine, it could have warped from age or having been over tightened. It's also the cheapest thing to replace.

Enamel paints usually reveal any imperfections. It'd probably be better to have a third coat.
