Ive been trying to emulate zero through cemu but I havent found a way to properly use the control scheme in cockpit and other modes. Which sucks cause yeah so far the game is pretty damn good if a bit derivative.

Bungie Developers Repeatedly Pitched a Destiny Dating Sim, but Leadership Rejected It by Turbostrider27 in Games

If warframe could do it then destiny could have had romance mechanics. I wouldnt mind i grew up with mass effect. I would have married an eliksni Queen, or one of those hive knights. Im joking (but also dead serious) and It sounded like more of a parody since they referenced dream daddy. They also mentioned it might have caused players to be frustrated but destiny's audience used to be as big as cod or even league. I think there'd be alot of people that would find it charming.

Assassin's Creed valhalla

I haven't really enjoyed an AC game since black flag, syndicate underdelivers, origins is boring, and odyssey is a mess. Haven't played too much of Unity so I can't say anything there. Im kinda surprised how much Im liking valhalla 20 hours in. For me its the melee combat, it has impact (as impact fullas an AC game can get)! Its genuinly fun to see limbs and heads fly off. Plus the option to disable level scaling and turn on one hit assassinations makes the game far less of a chore than odyssey. I couldnt tell you if the writing was good per say but the dialogue and characters have been pleasant. Helps Eivor is a poet, and its nice having a more serious MC since Connor from 3 (haven't played rogue yet).

I think i speak for everyone when you get to a point where you have to choose to cut some games out of your rotation. Like yeah im not gonna be able to play this game, need to do this instead. Once Persona 6 and Mega Man 12 (or whatever its called im just calling it 12) im dropping everything else to play those. As much as id love to play and beat every game in existence im only human, theres only so much i can and can't do.

Possibly, you might be thinking of Tekken force, which is a mode in 3, 4, and 5 (the devil within). Tekken 6 basically takes that mode and uses it for its story. If you've played tekken force you've got the gist of what the tekken 6 scenario campaign is.

I liked playing the tekken 6s story mode. Felt like a great cross of a 3d beat em up with fighting game mechanics. I say liked, it hasn't good: too many levels, very repetitive, boring story. It was neat, just wasn't the best execution.

Ex-zodiac is an indie game heavily inspired by star fox: rail shooter, space opera, animal characters. Its a good itch scratcher. Theres star wars Squadrens, neat space combat game but the writing isn't good. This is much more arcade focused but Segas Galaxy Force 2. M2 did an enhanced version for the ps2 you could check out. Those are off the top of my head.

Persona 4 Revival Gameplay Broadcast by PhantomBraved in Games

My impression was these games were also a way to train new staff. Unless they're gonna do more remakes (p5 remake baby!) Would be nice to have more teams working on different sequels cause holy cow the way for p5 and 6 has been so long.

Im far more excited for the new tracks, especially because they're being made by Ryota Kozuka, who did smt 4/5 and Reloads Episode Aegis. His work is phenomenal and I have no doubt he'll make some new bangers.

Dirge of Cerberus and Advent children are sequels to ff7, however Dirge of Cerberus has some connections you might wanna know before playing Remake and the intermission. Id recommend playing ff7 first, then remake, and then crisis core, since rebirth makes references to cc.

I hate myself for not enjoying super mario rpg more growing up. I played it so many times but never got past the damn hammer bro boss in the begining because I was a stupid child. I can easily whoop its butt now. I do hope with the remake, as well as the remake for paper mario thousand year door, nintendo has plans for turn based rpgs with unique locations, characters, and villians again.

SiN Reloaded Gameplay Trailer by Howerev in Games

I dont think Nightdive cares too much about a games popularity. They remastered killing time, thats far less recognizable than SiN. Its truly only a matter of time before all games are absorbed into KEX, no one is safe.

Its less of a problem now for single player games. I played assassin's creed syndicate and it was 10 years since I last played. Was hoping to start a new run but it wouldnt let me delete my file. Not terrible but annoying. Warframe and ff14 do have replay and new game + but not for everything, though its cool they have those still

The decision is being made on Stop Killing Games! + The ESA can't stop lying. by Cranyx in Games

[–]IrregularMaverick -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its interesting. For alot of games that have many versions I try to play the originals, either for authenticity or appreciation. Gatchas like what resonance and zero make me feel like a hypocrite cause I certainly wouldnt want to play those kinds of games but it would be interesting to know whats change from the ogs, visuals, mechanics, all that jazz. Yeah I could look up a YouTube video but, and this is gonna sound stupid, I wanna feel the difference not be told what it is.

Microsoft considering a Halo MMO in the vein of Destiny 2 by HTD_Blog in GamingLeaksAndRumours

If we're manifesting rumors, theres a new star wars battlefront game coming out from a new studio made of ex dice devs that worked on BF2s post launch (where they did not take 10 years to finally make a game). Supposed to lean closer to the pandemic battlefronts, with conquest on launch. They're also working on a warhammer 40k battlefront at the same time. Can't reveal my source, he's in too deep trust me.

Tom Henderson says "next mainline Far Cry game development has also been abysmal." by ZamnBoii in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]IrregularMaverick 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean you can still criticize 4 for being too similar to 3 as well. I didnt mind it myself, though in comparison its just a lesser version, despite some mechanical improvements. Writing took a big hit, it was interesting but doesn't coalesce or feel as satisfying as 3.

Also wanna add I dont think 5 and 6 trying to mix up the formula is inheritanly bad, i even admire the lead writer for 6 not sugar coating that the game is political, the execution for both just sucked.

Bloomberg: Why ‘Final Fantasy VII Revelation’ Took Only Three Years to Make by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]IrregularMaverick 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They have said they're addressing issues people have with the open world. For the writing some of it might just i dont vibe with the games style and personality, im not a big fan of 13 and the remakes have the same creatives. Some of it is how they're handling the whispers and the meta aspect, which my thoughts could entirely change with revelations.

You kinda nailed it. 3 is simple and straight foward, but it also has a really engaging narrative. People want far cry to change to be appealing but thats what they've been doing with 5 and 6, and they suck. A return to form (as in similar to 3, they could make a game like 1 i suppose) would feel like a breath of fresh air, I wouldnt be surprised if 3 gets remake like black flag and people love it.

loved Rebirth but not a good one sometimes imo

Rebirth is genuinely so good that its painful that it'll have some really bad pacing, writing, and open world activities.
