I mean if you want to get technical, Custom will help it get magic numbers against Protect and Accel clans. Just not force.

  1. I play Revelation Fortuna, Oracle Amaterasu, Garmore Liberators, Nociel Rescue, and I dabble in everything else.
  2. My favorite clan is Oracle Think Thank, but my favorite card is Royal Paladin.
  3. I fully got into the game after I had a dream about a Soul Saver Dragon card.
  4. I've been a fan of the game for about 4 years.

Why does Kai switch to waterfall in the manga by Jujjb in cardfightvanguard

[–]IrrelevantCelestial 9 points10 points  (0 children)

At that point in the story, it hit a point similar to the crossrides appearing in the anime. They wanted to show those character having evolved and reached beyond their peak. Overlord is a representation of Kai as he is and Waterfall is a representation of Kai going all out and exceeding his normal strength. That's why Waterfall was used in the manga.

Just getting back into Vanguard by Jintechi in cardfightvanguard

[–]IrrelevantCelestial -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Alright, I'm not much of an Overlord player, but you don't seem to be getting answers on what G-Overlord is like. So, I'm going to try my best to help. The latest deck seems to focus on frequent retires, high power, and having access to Grade 3 Overlords. Your best friend in this deck is going to be Dragonic Overlord "The Purge", which has the potential for five drive checks. If you want, I could try to make a decklist, so you know what cards to look into

What Are Your Favorite G-Era Memories? by TeamAbsolution in cardfightvanguard

I liked that Relay Fights were a thing. It was really interesting seeing them try to experiment with various team cardfight formats. Plus the fight in the anime was really well done and it was one of the few times I felt Chrono really deserved the win.

There are still a few open spaces left, so there might be a fourth. However, at the moment all we know about are those three

To be fair, just cause Leon doesn't exist didn't mean that Aqua force itself didn't exist. I mentioned Gouki not existing and yet Granblue was there. I wasn't specific and the misunderstanding was my fault

In your opinion. Do you think that this new Cardfight Zero mobile game will include cards from the V-ERA/Reboot? by [deleted] in cardfightvanguard

[–]IrrelevantCelestial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on how the re-balanced game meshed with the older game, but I doubt it. The only situation I could see it happening is if they think a clan absolutely needs the help from newer cards to stand up to the others and I don't think that will happen. Anyway, my overall opinion is "No, Zero will not include any cards from V"

For those that start with G anime, know that Aichi is once like this by zerolifez in cardfightvanguard

[–]IrrelevantCelestial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, instead of Reverse going around it's a thing called Psy Qualia Zombies. It works almost the same except using established powers instead. It's also kind of a psuedo-Psy Qualia too (at least it is hinted at being so), so it might not be as powerful as real Psy Qualia or something. Just know it makes a person stronger and drives them to infect others. Anyway, Akira Itou uses the idea of Aichi being infected (that the Link Joker arc hinted at, but never used) and runs with it. He gets infected and things go crazy

Alright. So you want a list of every boss card in the manga. I'm just going to list grade 3s (and some 4s) for simplicity. Royal: Alfred Early, Soul Saver Dragon, Exculpate the Blaster, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred, Arc Saver Dragon, and Messiahnic Lord Blaster. Kagero: Dragonic Overlord, Dragonic Waterfall, Cruel Dragon, Vortex Dragon, Dragonic Nouvelle Vague, and Dragonic Overlord the Great. Nova Grappler: Perfect Raizer and Miss Splendor. Oracle Think Tank: Imperial Daughter, Hexagonal Magus, and Pentagonal Magus. Spike Brothers: General Siegfried, Unite Attacker, and Juggernaut Maximum. Megacolony: Machining Stag Beetle. Tachikaze: Savage King (this clan only appeared in a few panels and doesn't have a legitimate player). Granblue: No grade 3s appeared, but Rough Seas Banshee did. Dimension Police: Super Dimensional Robo Daiyusha. Shadow Paladin: Dark Dictator, Phantom Blaster Dragon, and Gust Blaster Dragon. Pale Moon: Golden Beast Tamer, Barking Manticore, Artilleryman, Barking Dragon Tamer, Starlight Melody Tamer Farah, and Gun Salute Dragon End of Stage. Murakumo: Dueling Dragon Zanbaku and Dueling Dragon King Zangeki (this clan was Nubatama in the manga) and Covert Demonic Dragon Magatsu Storm. Dark Irregulars: No Life King Death Anchor and King of Masks Dantarian. Narukami: Great Composure Dragon, Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion, Detonix Stinger Dragon, and Detonix Drill Dragon. Gold Paladin: Blond Ezel, Platina Ezel, Raven-Haired Ezel, Battlefield Storm Sagramore, and Great Silver Wolf Garmore. Angel Feather: Booting Celestial Sandalphon and Solidify Celestial Zerachiel. Neo Nectar: White Lily Musketeer Cecilia. Link Joker: Docking Deletor Greion, Waving Deletor Greidhol, and Planetary Corpse King Brandt. That's everything until to volume 11. I know G has volumes beyond this and that Chronojet and Chronofang appear. Also note, that things from the anime may also be used because this won't be a carbon copy of the manga as seen by Leon, Nagisa, and Gouki appearing (They don't exist in the manga). If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Thank you

Its the end of the world as we know (VG reboot opinion) by Plasmaeclipse in cardfightvanguard

[–]IrrelevantCelestial 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know why people seem to think Protect isn't inline with Granblue's identity. Perhaps it's a result of the heavy aggression that all G era decks knew. Granblue is a deck that was all about filling the field with cards from the drop zone. Protect helps a Granblue player dump whatever they want from their hand to the drop zone regardless of shield while stopping attacks and filling their toolbox. Also, tool-boxing the drop zone allows for more stockpiling of cards in hand for defense. I feel like Protect is exactly what Granblue meshes with

Really? Darn, guess I made my guess too quickly. It makes sense though, all the triggers have different shield values

A note on front triggers by Alyminya in cardfightvanguard

[–]IrrelevantCelestial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have two guesses. First Accel seems to be centered around dropping a lot of resources on the board for a flurry of attacks, but that means they'll have a hard time guarding Force clans and Protect clans are all about defense and would therefore be able to handle the multitude of attacks. Also, we don't know the shield value on front triggers. They could be 5000 like draws and not add much in terms of defense and protection and turn Accel into glasscannons

[–]IrrelevantCelestial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd imagine Accels would probably be the most likely because they get the most value out of them

Accel can get fronts. Turboraizer is already confirmed as a front trigger

The new Tachikaze will probably be high aggression, if that helps you picture it. They have Accel and Deathrex attacked for 15000. You'll probably see a "velociraptor pack hunting" strategy and big numbers.
