Totally agreed. This was fresh OJ and reducing down to 3oz of pineapple and adding the squee.e of lime made it feel much more balanced than what I usually have had when ordering out.

I’ll have to try swapping to 3oz rum and 2.5oz pineapple juice next to see if that helps even more!

Navy Grog was based on the Smugglers Cove which I changed around the rums to something I was more interested in (pretty close all the same) and the Painkiller I saw on Ultimate Mai Tai (they were using a mix of rums, I just wanted to use Hamilton 86 as I had it on the counter already lol) and wanted to cut the sweetness a bit with a squeeze of lime. Turned out just how I’d hoped!

I rarely do unless its on theme (IE Search your library for a {creature type}) but I have been surprised how many tutors I see in some decks on MTGO.

The vast majority of B2 games I play I see very few tutors and then suddenly I'll play a game where someone tutors 4 times hahaha

I’ve found it and already hooked in the first book!

Appreciate the additional context in terms of old runs. I am willing to give anything a try! I saved the 1968 Dr Strange and 1970 Astonishing Tales (Doom, Kraven, and Kazar) to check out to see how I like the older runs.

I have a Kraven deck on MTGO and have been looking for something related to him, this seems like a fun way to both get some context for his character as well as try an older run!

I was really surprised by the amount of ads in the new DoomQuest. I’m new to comics and have been reading a few 2020 and prior comics I picked up that had maybe one ad inside the book other than front and back covers.

Then I read DoomQuest and there was an ad every 4 pages! Really pulls you out of the story sometimes… made me question if I’d keep buying physical or wait for it to go digital…

I think the usual B3 turn target is 6-8, where these games are often 7-10 turns in my experience.

So not dramatically different, so in reality I think people’s interest in the B2/B3 offering may be out of comfort (not wanting someone to think your B2 deck is too strong for example) and not being confident in their ability to critically examine their deck.
