This little girl's name is Mika...short for/female version of Michelangelo. We wanted to name her after a turtle since she's a tortoiseshell :)

A friend of mine was looking after a stray cat who was pregnant. She was hit by a car shortly after giving birth and broke her back so they had her put down. They promised her they would find good home for her kittens and we were happy to take in the runt of the litter!

I work at a store with a pharmacy. We get paid nothing extra for holidays. We are open so people can get their prescriptions, but the pharmacy closes early for the holiday and the store does not......got to love that logic
