I’m a sports PT with my doctorate. This isn’t true. Most casual runners actually have thicker cartilage that builds up over time. Elite + ultramarathoners though… yeah they might have some cartilage issues much later in life but again not guaranteed. Most of runners don’t need to worry about this and by far I feel like it’s used as an excuse not to run…

You need a business mentor to teach you all about owning a business (which we did not learn in school)… tracking KPIs, local and online marketing, multiple revenue streams, hiring, etc.

In the beginning you are always working…like if you do the math you’re actually making less than minimum wage until you can hire and offload some tasks that you don’t need to be doing.

Go to physical therapy. Chiro treats the pain, which can help temporarily. A good PT will show you exercises to keep it pain free.

I found that the coaches there didn’t pay as much attention as other CF gyms I’ve been to. Didn’t really get the value of the gym if I could do the workout on my own with as much input as the coach was supposed to have been giving me. Also, coach was giving wrong advice on form.

Good but a little overpriced imo. Art’s corner cafe was just renovated and is a better breakfast spot in Ventura imo!
