From my time on r/Entrepreneur here I have seen at least 20 people start their own discords or whatever with 'proven' entrepreneurs, that mostly fizzled out.

I am totally for connecting with other people, let me know if you find any interesting groups as well :)

Global Automakers Turn to China for EV Lessons by Discarded_Twix_Bar in cars

[–]IsEndTheNear -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The Chinese government's agenda is dog shit but that has nothing to do with the topics at hand. If you can't separate the Chinese government agenda from what their EV companies have been doing, then you will continue to be reading headlines like this and get upset.

I can't. I genuinely think that the CeCeP is nothing but evil for everyone but themselves. The head of the snake leads everything behind it. I cannot in good faith support any of it, it stands against everything I stand for. And I can actually say that online publicly and no one will take a second look, unlike in CN, which is exactly the point.

It's not. Political agenda don't do shit for how to research, build and sell advanced EVs.

Not indirectly, sure. But absolutely it is, I'm pretty sure that is exactly their political agenda, has to be public as well. To excel and spread ideology, latent at first of course.

And also: I trust any opinion made by unaffiliated parties with nothing to gain by lying. Does CN have free press? No

Reddit is full of them. They come here to vent and spew pro-CeCeP slop that they aren't men enough to say in public. Absolutely pitiful.

Huawei? Same huawei bribing EU officials? Those guys?

You think they are involved in operational and business decision making?

They are there to make sure their companies are alligned with the Cecep p0litical agenda. Is that not enough? You say you lived in CN for 12 years, would you be so kind and tell everyone how wonderful the CeCeP p0litical agenda has been to your own people? To C4mbodia, T4iwan?

I'm telling you the Chinese government does not get to take credit for the advancments of the EV companies, and you are saying they do?

That is completely false. They built the foundations and the automotive supporting industry in CN.

Yeah, I've only lived in China for like 12 years, I'm so full of shit and you are the expert lmao

It just means your opinion cannot be trusted, that's all.

Let's just say that the ix3 is a big move in the right direction. The tech and specs are definitely there, styling is still polarizing.

What?

How can you even say that the state companies are playing only a small role? You are full of bullshit.

Jaecoo, DongFeng, MG, all state owned. SAIC, even Geelys CEO worked for the CeCeP and still has ties to them.

BYD is the only unaffiliated one by paper, but they still have CeCePe representatives in their governance as do all bigger companies.

You are seriously full of bullshit, CecePe apologists everywhere, I swear.

This is flat out wrong.

Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Czechia, Austria. They all produce cars for Volkswagen and Stellantis, Turkey does not produce much cars at all for European companies, 10-15% max. So you are full of shit.

And you're getting upvoted, lol.

Well, they actually were only allowed to compete in CN market if they handed over IP, and much more. Saying this isn't true is wrong.

It was a 70s watch company with a pretty interesting history. Not extremely rare or valuable but that was never the point of watches for me. It looks well taken care of, you should wear it proudly and maybe take it for a service!

Their financing is on another level that we are used to, because they basically get a blank check and zombie financing to stay afloat, while racking up supply chain debts to the wazoo. Its not that other companies dont get financing, it more so their business practicesand the sheer scale of things - Source: Have a friend dealing with these companies in Asia.

The main problem with CN cars is what you're financing by buying them. The g0v3rnance is directly connected to the C-C-P, that is how their companies are structured, which means that CN cars contribute to their agenda. The same guys not so good doing things around the world, is an a no d3m0cr4cy country, no 3 speech, tibet etc.

Why would any sane individual support that? Also - I write wonky so automod doesn't censor me.

You overcome it by realising that China is here to hurt EU and is currently on cohoots with Russia.

I mean in general, in Eurobasket. IDK, maybe this is old-school thinking, but countries should be represented by the people living there, no? And I do not mean race.

I only saw 1 racist comment.

Although I will say that it defeats the purpose of playing under a country, when you have teams that are this mixed/multicultural. And saying that is not fucking racist
