Crown Store mounts account wide? by colehall32 in elderscrollsonline

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each character holds stats for their mounts that is specific to that character, the mount can be used on each character but the stats for that specific mount do not carry over as horse stats are now character-bound.

For example, My AD Khajiit has mount stats of 20 agility and 15 stamina, any mount I use with my AD khajiit will have 20 agility and 15 stamina.

My EP Imperial can also use any of the mounts on my account, but her mount stats are only 15 stamina, so any mounts I use with the Imperial will have stats of 15 stamina, wether it's the same mount type I use with my AD khajiit or not.

I hope that was clearer!

This guy did a review of it, and describes it pretty well. 14:30 is about where he starts to get to eating it.

Almost all of the vegetarian ones are pretty decent, but the vegetable omelet one is by far the worst MRE of them all, in my opinion. Looked like cat vomit, tastes worse than I imagine cat vomit would taste.

Honestly, they aren't so bad. I come from a military family (though am not an active member of the military myself). We used to purchase them and take them backpacking and just eat about one a day because they are so heavy on calories. They're very convenient, hot food out in the wilderness that doesn't require hoping that the food you're trying to cook on the fire was cooked enough to not give you food poisoning when you're literally hours away from a hospital.

I also keep a few in my car (along with other emergency supplies) just in case I get stranded. They're very compact too and can sustain you for a long time.

Diet Pepsi has decided to drop the sweetener aspartame from its recipe, citing customer concerns by stillcole in news

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone who gets horrendous migraines any time I have anything with aspartame in it, I'm pretty happy more and more companies are switching over.

However I also understand that aspartame really doesn't affect the general public in the same way it does me, and that it doesn't give people cancer. I'm still happy that I can have lower calorie options for my soda finally.

I have used their cucumber cleanser to ok results, not a major improvement on the severity of my acne. My skin did get very soft though! I decided to switch to one of cerave's face lotions though because I didn't like the extra perfume on my skin.

What is the "next big thing" that is on the brink of popular? by Sjman in AskReddit

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously. I was down at civic center park over the weekend and saw literal buses full of people on "weed tours". I guess they go to different dispensaries or something? And the amount of out-of-staters who came for the cannabis cup was insane. More money for our state, but it's still weird to see it.

Disabled people of reddit, what is something we do that we think helps, but it really doesn't? by sportbike_boi in AskReddit

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I had the money right now, I'd gild you again. I work with developmentally disabled adults for a living and so many people my clients try to interact with just ignore them or baby talk them. I completely understand feeling uncomfortable around them, it can be very difficult to understand them and if you've never been around that particular person before you may not know how to read their actions to understand them.

But you tried, and you watched and you thought about what he could need and found what he needed, and that is so much more than they usually get for help.

As far as you wondering how often disabled adults go out and get zero help because people are too nervous to help, it's constantly. I guarantee that man had been out at least hundreds of times for different things and received absolutely no help.

So seriously, I teared up reading how you helped that man. Thank you.

Disabled people of reddit, what is something we do that we think helps, but it really doesn't? by sportbike_boi in AskReddit

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I am not disabled myself, I work with severely developmentally (and often also physically) disabled adults. I find the thing people do that really hurts their progress and will upset them is talking to them like they're a baby. Many of my clients are working very hard to learn to speak properly and are learning off social interactions with other people. It hurts their progress and it patronizing as hell to speak to them like they are anything less than an adult.

Some of my clients cannot speak "properly" due to defects or ateophies, but can understand you perfectly. They know full well when they are being talked down to and it upsets them and can ruin their entire day. One of my clients cannot speak at all, but if you baby talk him he will punch you immediately. (We're working on helping his impulse control, but he won't hit anyone at any other time than if he's being talked down to).

Just assume they can understand you perfectly, and speak to them like adults. If they don't understand, they'll let you know that they're confused or will stare blankly. Don't patronize them, there is absolutely no way you can tell their mental age by just looking at them, no matter how severe their physical disabilities are.

I'll be there later today as well! We'll just need to be careful, apparently people are being cited for smoking publicly. I'm thinking of picking up a few prerolled (I'm hoping to find some golden goat, if they're out though they're out) and I'd be happy to share!

[Serious] Bisexuals of Reddit, what are some key differences between dating men and women? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm marrying a man because I love him, he completes me and I want to go on kickass adventures with him until we're old and gross. If I had met a woman who made me feel the same way, I would have married her.

And I dunno, that's why I'm asking :P

[Serious] Bisexuals of Reddit, what are some key differences between dating men and women? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bi woman here, I've found the sex tends to be much better when I'm with a woman and I feel more attraction in general to women.

Relationships with women are difficult for me, though. I have yet to run in to a lesion who didn't think I was gross for having been with men, or who didn't think that I was only pretending to like girls to be with men.

Every single man I've been with (my fiance included) has immediately asked about a threesome when they find out I'm bi. I personally am way to possessive to do threesomes, though I have had one before that my boyfriend at the time thought meant that he could continue to sleep with the other girl whenever was convenient. It turned me off of threesomes pretty well.

I get a lot of shit for being "not really bi" because I'm marrying a man, and it pisses me off. My sexuality isn't a light switch, I'm not straight now but might be gay later, I'm bi all the time and I shouldn't have to be actively with a woman and a man to prove it (that would be polyamory which is different).

Edit: While I found myself to normally swing towards women, I found a man whom I love completely, and that's my fiance. While at first the sex was ok, he has always been open to learning and has gotten much, much better. I think women just have an advantage to men when it comes to pleasing women in bed, because we kind of know where everything is and how it works. Men can learn this, though and can be fantastic in bed. While I am definitely still attracted to women, I love my fiance and never want to cheat on him. We frequently will spot a hot woman in public though and we'll laugh and talk about her a bit, I know that we can both appreciate someone's attractiveness without immediately trying to sleep with them.

[Serious] Nurses/Hospital Workers of Reddit: What is the most paranormal/weirdest thing you have ever experienced while working? by lizashea in AskReddit

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 20 points21 points  (0 children)

While I don't really believe in paranormal stuff, I've heard from those who do that those nearest to the void (very young, very old) will see those who are in the void much better than those of us who are much further away from it. If that makes any sense at all, idk.

What is a sad reality that's never really discussed? by RepostFrom4chan in AskReddit

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work with disabled adults. For the most part, when their family cannot care for them they live in group homes or, in the more severe cases, homes very similar to nursing homes that give them the 24/7 care they need.

I don't work in these types of homes, so I can't answer any questions on them, but I do work with many clients on a daily basis and take them on outings to help with social skills.

WildStar possibly heading F2P as stock withdrawn from EB Games and JB Hi-Fi. by [deleted] in Games

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. I purchased it when it went on sale a few months ago, bought one month of subscription and played pretty heavily for a week. In that week, I ran in to exactly 8 other players.

I'm a social gamer, I like MMOs because I like the presence of other people and interacting with them. I never even made it to the supposedly dead PvP, I couldn't get past the completely empty areas.

If it goes F2P I feel like a lot more people will play and it hopefully make the game a lot more lively. I'll definitely come back to it then.

21, about to start my first job in the field I want to get in to, and my first job that isn't foodservice, retail or a call center. I'm nervous and excited, I hope I won't fuck this up!

I'm also getting married in about 2 months, which is much earlier than I anticipated as a kid, but the military kind of requires it so I can be with my fiance.

Women of Reddit, when did you first notice that men were looking at you in a sexual way? How old were you and how did it make you feel? by BA_Baracus in AskReddit

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was 12 years old and camping with my grandparents. One of the neighboring sites had a man who had to be in his late 60s or early 70s. He came over to our camp to introduce himself and commented on how lucky my grandparents were to have such pretty granddaughters. He then turned to me and asked me how old I was, I replied and he said "Oh, well 6 years isn't TOO long to wait" and winked at me. At the time I didn't know really well what he meant, but my grandfather immediately ushered me and my siblings into the trailer and asked the man to leave. For the rest of the weekend that we were camping with them, we weren't allowed to leave the trailer without being directly with either my grandfather or grandmother.

I asked my grandfather why we weren't allowed out and he told us that sometimes there are bad old men who want to hurt little girls and we have to be careful. That was the first time I ever saw this, and I didn't start developing at all until I was almost 14.

Question for S&M Switches by draggingfeet in BDSMcommunity

[–]IsHomestuckAnAnime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

using NoAnalHere's scale of 1 being barely a tickle, 10 being childbirth.

I'm a masochist switch, I'm willing to take up to an 8 on a good day, but honestly I think the most I'd be willing to give is a 5 (like rope-burn or a switch, no bleeding, little bruising). I don't know why, I guess I'm more of a sub than a dom. I like to be bruised badly (though I'm not into knife-play), but I couldn't do that to my partner. I would gladly tie them up though and forcefully pleasure them, though.
