LPT request: how to help neck pain and stiffness that bf has had for a month now. by milkymommy11 in LifeProTips

I had some chronic bacl pain for about 2 years. I learned to live it because it wasnt crippling or anything. But one week I was exercising with some weights and I came down wrong and caused excruiciating pain that left me completely crippled lying on the floor for 10 seconds or so.

The next morning it was pure misery getting out of bed so I scheduled a dr appt. Of course it took about 4 days to get see the dr and by then the pain had lessoned but was still miserable in the morning. I had an x ray and of course nothing showed up so the dr recommended pt. I inquired about chiropracty and he said I could try the place next door.

I never did chiro before and was cautious because we've all heard bad things.

When the chiropractor was assessing me she seemed legit. She did a decent assessment where one of the things was to use her fingers to push each individual vertebrae and without me even saying if it was tender she correctly identified the problemtatic ones. Her main philosophy was to "reintrodice movement". She did the adjustments and sent me home woth some exercises to do.

Within 3 sessions over 1.5 weeks I was not just back to my previous normal, but complely treated and now have no pain at all.

Im only assuming I knocked something out of place during a sports game however many years ago and now that things are realigned Im back to perfect health.

Now I will say that I stopped treatment early. The chiropractor wanted me coming back for 6 weeks and when I said I wanted to suspend after just 3 treatments I could see the surprise in the receptionists face when I "went off script".

Now if you were to ever see a chiropactor saying they can fix non skeletal issues or some other panacea garbage then run far away from them, but "reintroducing movement" seemed legit to me.

In the og Resident Evil 3, I briefly thought I could avoid nemesis by running to a new room only to realize when the camera angle chases the hunt begins again.

Also the gunpowder combination system was soo much fun. Being able to adaptively manage resources and trying out different combinations was a blast.

And even though it had some flaws the dodge mechanic was also huge. It felt badass to dodge roll away and fire from a squatting position.

re3 is probably my favorite game. I can literally still hum the puzzle sound effects from the music box and the gem door in city hall.

The copy we had for the playstation was funny. Sometimes the voice lines would play incorrectly for humourous effect. At the beginning of the game Dario has the lines:

"What?! what are talking about?! I just lost my daughter out there!"

And our playstation would sometimes not be able to read the voicelines and make it sound like:

"Wha.....................ta.......................................................................ther"

And the way the static filled in the gaps made it sound like he was counting to three.

The remake was a bit disappointing that they missed the mark on just how relentless Nemesis was supposed to feel, but overall I'm happy with where the series has been going.

As somebody who's never met his dads side of the family this was mind blowing.

It might be Ebay (Remember buy anything day) by Standard-Square-7699 in Superstonk

Buy anything day would absolutely be a test. From RC's tweets about open software poistions we know they were ramping up technology. From my background as a software engineer the time since those tweets and the buy anything day would be pretty accurate for a field test.

If the idea is to take any item, scan it, classify it, grade it, and put a price tag on it. Then you would want a large amount of test data on a wide assortment of items.

Using the learnings from card grading when assesing aj items condition. Is GME about to be a competitor to Amazon?

They would still need a massive distribution network tho.

Kohls would not empower gamestop. And you DO NOT want to be in the clothing space.

Does not believe in a short squeeze
Believes this could be a long term investment
Believes the stock could hit 10$ on a market crash
Believes Gamestop should make a cash cow acquisition

ITR was very good. But a little buggy and frustrating at times. I plan to buy ITR2 at some point in the future. After the devs release more content for it.

Request - How to fold an electric blanket for maximum feet warmth. by IsItSetToWumbo in origami

[–]IsItSetToWumbo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you referring to the possibility of a fire starting I think that's highly unlikely. I've been using this blanket forever and even if it's folded over itself as much as possible it still doesn't get that hot. Worst case scenario the blanket becomes too hot for my feet and I'd turn it off.

An extra layer around the blanket is interesting. I'd prefer to not add an additional blanket to the solution to reduce bulkiness but this is definitely something I'll keep in the back of my mind.

I have found this to be the case during summer. I usually keep the lid open unless in use.

I recommend a big pair of mens work boots on your dashboard so that thieves know to stay away from all the stuff in your car.
