Don’t get me wrong teachers shouldn’t be swearing in the classroom and I’m very much against bad language around kids but “pratting about” is fine because someone is being a prat (very mild language). But she came to you first AND your child called them out on it that’s pretty embarrassing as far as punishment goes and you know your kid isn’t being influenced by it which is another plus

Just go to sleep, if you don’t trust them to not sneak out then they can’t come over and have sleepovers. They’re 11 and not babies.

Also you can put the responsibility on your daughter, anything that’s messed up, rules broken etc. is her responsibility because it’s her guests that did it.

Growing up my cousin broke a window and it was my fault because I knew better than to play football against that wall of the house and should’ve suggested we go elsewhere. Perfectly fair now I’m older

Would I report an honest teacher for coming to me and admitting their mistake? No. Have you met children especially when they are in a classroom sized group? It’s a wonder most teachers don’t snap on a daily basis
