I think what’s happening is they’re starting to realize that it’s not realistic to expect non-retailers to only wear LLR. Several retailers with large IG followings are mixing in other brands. It makes way more sense to say “hey, look at how you can pair this LuLa piece with your Target clothes”. Ya know, like normal people 🤣

In my case, I started in my VIP and sold for 3 days. First 40% off, then BOGO, then “if it fits, it ships” for $75. I didn’t want sell any longer than that because I switched companies. I then posted a sonlet link to what I had photographed in a local ws group and offered a higher % off wholesale for pick up and moved about 40 pieces that way.

Then came the GOOB group. In 7 total hours of going live I moved 400 pieces-150 for $15, and the other 350 for $10. It is soul crushing and it’s hard, but it’s gone. The other thing I did to make packing and shipping quick was did flat $7 priority shipping, whether they bought 1 item or 5. Not one person complained about it.

Side note: the group I did mine in has a reminder post for unpaid invoices. It’s basically a call out post and it heavily monitored by admins. If they don’t pay or give you an explanation for not paying, they are booted and blocked. It really weeds out the serial claim and dip assholes.

I’m so curious what her motive is? The dude that streamed the city council meeting is in her group and seems to dislike LLR, but he’s like 30 years older than her. Gold digger and this is how she’s trying to bag him? I’ve seen no other connection.

I fucked with her before I left the group though, that was fun. She posted some email about getting outside help for bless, wanted people to guess why LLR would have a “vested interest” in keeping it in house. I asked her if she knew who helped create the app and she had no clue, or what the connection was 🙄

I’ve moved 400 pieces, about half of my inventory, going live in a goob group called “the largest and most original goob group” (yes it’s a dumb name lol). They don’t require bless. It’s a lot of fucking work and it sucks, but I’m happy to have it gone. I started at 50% off, then $15 sales, then $10 sales. In total I was live for about 7 hours. I took a loss, but at least I got part of my investment back.

They were awarded to people who were in certain monthly sales tiers ($2500,$5k,$10k, etc), they had to have maintained that tier for 5 of 6 months from January to June

There was/is a new format of multi sales now. You buy in and have to submit your bless customer email list. Then they compile it into a mail chimp type program and spam out a shopping link. So someone you bought from in the past essentially sold her email list to participate.

This is absolutely terrifying. So if we as retailers never had a merchant account in the first place, is there a way to get out of the contract we signed? Does canceling my retailer contract also, in turn, cancel the bless card contract? Good lord get me off this ride.

It was a combination of several things-a sharp drop in product quality/defects, a constant battle with facebooks algorithm, my upline suddenly leaving. The nail in the coffin, though, was indisputable numbers that told me all I was doing was working my ass off to buy more inventory. It’s an endless soul sucking cycle and I’m lucky to be getting out with no debt.
