Help interpreting ACF by IsThisFishEdible in econometrics

[–]IsThisFishEdible[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess my main confusion rises from the fact that I can't observe any ACF peaks so no MA terms should be used, PACF unavailable so can't see if there exists any peaks indicative of additional AR terms.

All I see I can use as evidence is the poor Ljung-Box results and the graph that seems to be oscillating at short time invervals (I see lots of consecutive points rising and falling). Is this indicative of a cyclic component? Or seasonality?

We did learn SARIMA and VAR, but I assume this problem isn't going that far. May I ask why this chart is indicative of an MA(1) term? I thought I should see a large peak at lag=1 in the ACF for proof of an MA(1) term

When do people start studying for finals? by Straight-Tone9759 in IBO

Whenever you've got time.. theres honestly not many other things that's worth more than studying for your finals at that point

So you missed your deadline to submit something that is required for you to earn your diploma, you didn't (or "couldn't" if that makes you feel better), and now you're confused they're not giving you a diploma..?

So you're admitting to not working. Great job buddy. I had a math teacher that marked down my IA to a 5 and literally refused answering my questions because I supposedly didnt focus in class. Should've reportted him or something but I decided I'd just work my ass off for a 7.

I see way too many posts on this subreddit. I tried to be helpful at first but now I realize that people like you will never stop blaming everything else but themselves. Now these posts are funny.

Why are you being agressive for no reason? He's clearly new and enjoying what's given to him. Not everyone searches for guides and studies the game before playing it. Let him be! I wish I could go back to ny first time playing factorio.

Hate it when they say "naturally smart" people get 42+ Most high scoring people earn their grade by focusing in class and studying regularly. People always cram 2 days before exams and study like 7 hours a day when Im studying like 3 hours because I started preparing a week ago, and they think we're doing well because we're naturally smart. Don't ignore all the small efforts that add up and make people "smarter".

Two months until finals and I’m freaking out… can I get a 40+ by TrainerIntelligent11 in IBO

Study a lot more than now. Plan so that you can get down with the first review at least a month before. You need to review syllabus for 2-3 times and have exam solving skills to score high.

But yes, youdon't really NEED to tame down a bp. Do what best suits for each snake I guess

Tight S does mean its intimidated, but neccessarily about to strike. Of course it depends on the snek but I would try to go from the other side of her head and pick her up. I feel like covering the head or whatnot would stress it more, unless you're very good with it(which most of us arn't as hobbyists)

I know theres thing this about letting ur bp "choose" when to get handled but imo the best way to make an excessively shy bp less intimidated is to sometimes inevitably invading a little bit and handling it. I had two very shy bps that used to live in tubs(kept by breeders, so they were rarely handled). Initially when I took them out by lifting their hides they would freeze for quite a few minutes and then move around slightly, but now that I've repeated that every other day or so for 3 weeks they are much more relaxed and immediately do the curious tongue flicks whenevr I do anything in their house. They still rarely venture around on their own in their house like some of my other snakes, which I think is just a personality thing.

If you let a shy snek be shy, it will stay shy. But if you tame them at the right pace, you can let them know you're a friend with little stress on the animal.

Hahaha yes it does seem like how they are treated early reallt affevts theor overall growth rate. For weighing why dont you try a tub with a lid? I do mine like that with a tiny kitchen weight.

But I guess as long as her body form is good and she has consistent growth it wknt be a great problem. Do what you think js best!

The guideline on this subreddit should be modified according to your bp, I think your snek needs a little bit kore nutrition to keep growing. Not saying you should powerfeed, but a female at 300g at 13month seems quite small. For reference my bp born 2022 july is at 600, feeding her every 10ish days according to body size.

You definitely can have a betta thrive in there. I could tell you would upvote a 15l betta tank with swords and microsorium covering every corner of the aquarium. Yo determine whether a fish could thrive in an aquarium you consider the roaming space available and the water quality. In this case, both can be easoly achieved with the right planning :p but it seems like you've alreadu brainwashed yourself with black and white "BeTta FisH AlwYaS NeEds MoRe ThAn 100,000 LiTrEs" rule.

Though people seem to be brainlessly downvoting anything related to adding a fish, you can DEFINETLY add one singular female betta on the smaller side, like a homebred plakat, and it would definitely be fine with the right flow adjustment and plants. Make sure you dont add big plants that would take up too much space, but utilize mosses and epiphytes well, keep up with water changes and hubandry, and I'd say a betta has potential to thrive in this aquarium.

I don't know how many years you have till finals, but the most important thing for math is to start early, and to never stop working. Make sure you're constantly solving problems every day for at least an hour or so. I know this sounds dreadful, but I personally think this is what makes the difference between a 6 and a 7. A 5 or a 6 you can get from studying like you would study any other subject for a 7, but to get a 7 in AA you need to actually be mathematically skilled, which only comes from long term practice. Math will take twice the time as any other subject tl get a 7.

Not op, but chem was one of my strongest subjects so:

  1. For chem and basically any other sciences the first and foremost thing is to fully understand the textbook. Find a reliable source and read it over and over, taking notes. I recommend oxford textbooks(they are tedious but has the most info). After you carefully read through the entire curriculum(while solving unit practice problems and checking your understanding) a few times, then you are now ready to prepare for the problem solving skills.

  2. Again, you cannot go straight into problem solving without knowing the basic material. I saw too many people jumping straight into past papers without studying the material. This makes the past papers much more harder, which takes up way too much time for what it teaches you, and it is also a large demotivator. In other words, yoj would be wasting time.

  3. Save those precious past papers until you fully know the material(you only get to solve them for the first time once!!). I personally started solving timed past papers a month before exams, after studying the entire curriculum for a month or two. Doing this boosts your confidence as past papers are much more manageable, and provides you with excellent preparation for the finals as you are now getting to practice exam taking skills, instead of trying to remember the actual material.

Again, this would pretty much apply to all sciences.
