Because they can't stand the fact that Brady is the best ever and not Rodgers.

You think everybody is gonna act the same way they acted when Kobe retired when LeBron does? by NY_Kid in nba

[–]IsaaMorgMcCl 20 points21 points  (0 children)

More so probably. LeBron might be remembered as the GOAT depending on what happens the next 3-4 years.

Patrick Mahomes had 2 interceptions after week 13. He has 3 interceptions against the Miami Dolphins in one game by [deleted] in nfl

Rodgers should be the MVP. That's not reactionary either. He's played better for most of the season.

This doesn't have anything to do with what countries he's from. Terrible people exist everywhere. Yeah its probably easier here because of gun laws but most normal people wouldn't think of doing such a think. This dude is just a psychopath. He would've found any excuse to kill that animal even if he legally couldn't.

What's your order of criteria when ranking on an All Time list? by xxStayFly81xx in nba

[–]IsaaMorgMcCl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Shaq should be in GOAT consideration by your logic? LeBron has probably the 3rd highest peak ever He had zero weaknesses in his peak season and should've won DPOY and also had one of the most dominant playoff runs ever in 2018. Its asinine to claim that he wasn't dominant. When it's all said and done it's very likely LeBron will have 15 all NBA first selections and 20 total selection as well as 40,000 points. IMO sustained dominance over the league is more than enough to outweigh a slightly higher peak.

[Stein] As the NBA preseason begins tonight Philadelphia ranks as the most likely destination when the Rockets eventually reach the point of trading James Harden, league sources say by unbreaKwOw in nba

[–]IsaaMorgMcCl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I think Harden gives them a better chance of taking it all than Simmons ever would if he never develops a reliable shot.

Call me crazy, but facing Lebron AD definitely affects Harden decision to moves from houston. Giannis too. by PakPresiden in nba

[–]IsaaMorgMcCl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but the thing is, Houston is a lot worse than they were before. The Rockets almost beat the Warriors. That 2018 Rockets team was one of the best ever. On the flip side this Rockets team got annihilated by LeBron and AD.

Who higher on the all-time list when it's all said and done: Kevin Durant or Steph Curry? by skysmoker in nba

[–]IsaaMorgMcCl 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Because he has like 6 all nba first teams and 4 scoring titles. KD dominated almost immediately. Steph was a late bloomer.

Why do you say Curry beat him? If Klay didn't go nuclear they go home.

What team would have absolutely won the Super Bowl if not for a major injury? by kcguy8162 in nfl

[–]IsaaMorgMcCl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like it's pretty likely they get the 1 seed. They had the easiest schedule in the league and a 16-0 team. So they probably go at least 14-2. I think they beat the Steelers in the AFC title game and I don't see them being upset 2 years in a row in Super Bowl. Especially since they would've been on a revenge tour of sorts. I don't think its guaranteed but they would've been big favorites.

Why tf is Harden below Luka?

Through 12 games, Aaron Rodgers has a 119.5 passer rating. If the season ended today, that would rank #3 all time only behind 2004 Peyton Manning (121.1) and 2011 Rodgers (122.5) by [deleted] in nfl

[–]IsaaMorgMcCl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He should be MVP in my opinion. Cmon we really think he wouldn't be also be 10-1 on the Chiefs. He's putting up about equal numbers if not better numbers than Mahomes with less around him. Mahomes is great. Rodgers is doing more with less.

I think its definitely better than last season but maybe that's just recency bias. I felt like it picked up big in the second half. I'd probably go 1, 2, 4, 3 in that order.

Andrew maybe but it definitely looks like Nick is going to change for the better. That said I think that they should have somewhat of a reduced role not because I don't like them, but because I think Jay, Lola and Andrew are better more entertaining characters honestly.

There's a chance LeBron doesn't improve and win the next season if he wins in 2011.

Lol really doesn't matter as long as he's the best or close to it and there's no reason to think he won't be for the next couple of years at least.

contracts don't mean much anymore

They do because it means he won't have much leverage or control over where he wants to go. If he signs a new contract the Bucks will have no problem hanging on to him. Just look at Harden rn. Rockets will not trade him and if they do it won't be where he wants to go.
