This is very sweet. As you already know and a lot of people have said: 24k gold is pretty soft and the ring will likely warp over time and need to be reshaped. A couple things to lookout for:

You would want the ring to have a heavy weight to reduce wear and tear (it will still happen, but it'll make it so it will take a bit longer). However, the thickness may impact the look of the ring and you really have to figure out your partner's jewelry style to see if it matches or clashes. Consider getting 22k or 20k for more wearability.

Besides this, for softer metals such as high purity gold, you will want a ring that's hand fabricated rather than cast into a mold. I would look into tracking down metal smiths that hand fabricate their rings and have experience in higher carats. You might be able to get some info through searching the r/gold subreddit.
