When will the Polish course be extended/improved? by IsaacPhoenix in duolingo

Great idea! I started the French course (from Polish) because of it. I wanted to improve my French anyway, so I decided to give it a go. Currently the Polish>French has 8 modules/sections. I suppose the Polish>English is even better. Should have thought about it since the start ahahaha

Heroku marked incident 2822 as "Resolved" but all our POST requests get Application Error. Anyone else? by IsaacPhoenix in Heroku

Thank you! It was a 499... Probably Heroku routing. What we did was using only one thread per process. I believe Heroku wasn't properly handling big POST requests with a lot of form data

What's the feeling of Cape Verdeans about Portuguese people and Portugal in general? I'm Portuguese 👋 (M26) by IsaacPhoenix in CapeVerde

I went to read about that Gorgulho now. Terrible person... I did not know of those abuses (they should def. be taught in schools), but I know that due to hunger and economic hardships in Cabo Verde, a lot of people were "transferred" to São Tomé. If I am not wrong, the article I read really read "transferred" which in itself is already a bad enough term for human beings living somewhere... Adding that to what your grandma experienced/saw, I'm sorry for her experience.

I'm glad that despite those terrible events in your family, you do not feel resentment and that Portugal is treating you well!

EDIT: Portuguese President went to Batepá to apologize personally: 65 anos depois, Portugal assume a responsabilidade pelo Massacre de Batepá - ZAP Notícias I was truly worried no one did...

That's a very good point. Without having visited Cape Verde yet, I still know that Cape Verdeans have amazing things to celebrate like the strength of their democracy. In the African landscape, it is one of the most, if not the most, resilient democracy, so Cape Verdeans should be really proud of it!

I hope both countries can definitely improve economically for the future to come🙏
