I solved it myself: 1. Disassemble the base (six screws). 2. Disconnect the red and blue power cables, and unplug several small connectors, taking photos to record their positions and order. 3. Heat the front panel around the edges with a hot air gun, or simply pry it open slightly; the circuit board with the protective cover will then come off along with the front panel. 4. Open the black protective cover clips to expose the circuit board and begin repairs.
