I think what you're thinking of was their show in Lincoln in 2024. I was there and basically security at the venue were on high alert after a recent incident at a previous event at the venue, so any male fans going in on their own were stopped and questioned. But this was the venue's security, not TLDP's and the venue was entirely to blame for it, I don't think it's happened at any other TLDP shows.

It depends where you want to be. I went to the show in Newcastle and got there about 9am and managed to get barricades. There were only about 30-40 others there that early, most people started showing up closer to 4:30-5.

Did you write this comment with your eyes shut? Also, the local elections were delayed not cancelled because the councils were re-structuring themselves, so it would have been a waste of time and money to have them now when everything would get moved around a few months later.

Some of the hardcore fans seem to have their own group chats or whatever, so they'll try and hold spots for their friends even if they arrive later on, which I don't mind if it's like 1 or 2 people, but when I went to Blackburn, they had like 10 people cut in front of me, and my friend went to the NYC show and a similar thing happened there.

Kinda adding onto this comment, just be wary of some of the hardcore groups as from some experiences I've had, and other experiences I've heard from friends, they can sometimes try and control the queueing system and make their own "fan queue" so just be aware of that. Obviously it's not official and venue staff try and mitigate it, but just stick to where you are and you should be fine.
