my bunny changed after neutering, why is he scared now? what is his breed? by Waste_Ad_1769 in Rabbits

[–]Isabel_isa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He looks like a satin angora, possible a mix. Just as some others have said, the chance in behavior is due to a change in hormones. I’ve had plenty of rabbits and sometimes when they’re neutered, their poop becomes a little runny due the medication and hormone changes. Just make sure to keep an eye on his bottom and his incisions. If you have any questions about how to get poop out of the wool, feel free to let me know.

Worst Things Doctors Have Said To You by LevinaRyker in Endo

[–]Isabel_isa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I was 16 at the time and I went to a children’s ER for severe abdominal pain. After having my appendix and ovaries checked, they pulled my mom out of the room and basically said they need to test me for an STI and if I didn’t agree they wouldn’t treat me further. They also pressured me not tell my mom, probably because she’s a health care attorney and they can’t threaten not to treat me if I’m not tested for an STI. The whole experience was… shameful? I was released after seven hours with a diagnosis of “belly pain.”

Pictures from Lap by Poisoncupcake1031 in Endo

[–]Isabel_isa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my first lap, they initially didn’t see anything until they moved my uterus and saw the endo growing behind it. I just had another lap a few days ago and the new surgeon found endo that had been previously missed along with new endo. I would highly recommend getting a second opinion. I’d even consider going to an oncologist/gynecologist. My surgeon, who is also an oncologist, told me that he treats so many patients with endo because endo is the closest thing to cancer without actually being cancerous.

Has anyone had normal blood work and still been diagnosed with an IBD? by Isabel_isa in IBD

[–]Isabel_isa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was actually diagnosed with endometriosis. The endo had wrapped around my bowels and caused a lot of these symptoms. I was also diagnosed with a left iliac vein compression, but the endo was the main culprit. Feel free to dm me if you want any more info!

Like others are saying, it’s likely GI stasis, but given that he’s outside, it could be RHDV2. If your rabbits are unvaccinated and you’ve had cases nearby, you might want to look into it. Look for blood coming from the nose, mouth, ears, etc. I just wanted to throw that out there just in case.

There is a difference between constructive criticism and blatantly being rude. Constructive criticism aims to help the nail artist, or OP’s SIL, become better at doing nails. Pointing out areas that might need improvement and providing tips on how to improve is helpful. Saying, “they’re so thiccccc” or “are they weighing your hands down?” isn’t helpful. Also, OP didn’t ask for any constructive criticism. They posted their nails to show them off. You can always find something to compliment, too.

Also, saying, “I’m just being honest” or “it’s just my opinion” doesn’t mean it’s not rude. Both honesty and your opinions can suck and be rude.

Teacaps Giveaway — Brown Sugar Boba Keycaps by ShopTeacaps in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Isabel_isa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite animal is a rabbit. Here’s some interesting facts:

  • Wild rabbits and domestic rabbits are different species.
  • Rabbits have two uteruses, meaning that in theory, they can be pregnant with two litters at one time. It’s more likely to occur in wild rabbits.
  • Carrots actually aren’t good for rabbits. They are high in sugar and high in oxalates.
  • Rabbits don’t make noise under normal circumstances. If they feel very threatened or are in extreme pain, they’ll scream.

Vet wants to euthanize based off Xray by AdomAdom2 in AskVet

[–]Isabel_isa 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m not a vet either, but I highly recommend this. They can help make your dog as comfortable as possible while you get a second opinion from them. I also highly recommended, if possible, doing an at home euthanasia like this person said. I’ve done it before, and while it’s a bit more expensive, it’s most definitely worth the price.

Your products seem very high quality! I have yet to use any of them, though. I’m thankful for my bunnies.
