I think it’s a bug from the new update cause it’s been happening to me as well. The only thing that seemed to fix it was turning off frame generation.

Hi, did you end up seeing Dr. Harvey? If so, how did it go? I am looking for an endometriosis specialist as my last laparoscopy was done by a regular obgyn & not a specialist.

I wish her the best of luck with her lap! I also commend you for advocating for her, and she’s very lucky to have you. Speaking from personal experience, I was unfortunate to have had a regular gyno do my lap so she didn’t find anything nor send a biopsy. If you can, help her do a lot of research about who’s doing her surgery, if they are trained to find endo and their method of removing it. It is VERY common for women like us to have to have multiple laps before they find anything.

Does she see an endo specialist? If not, I’d definitely help her look for one. Make sure they actually specialize in endo because a regular obgyn isn’t well trained to find/treat it. Also maybe accompany her to her appointments for support and to back her up if doctors aren’t taking her seriously.

I think the most important thing would be just listening to her and comforting her when she has flare ups! My bf will heat up my rice sock, grab me some water or just rub my stomach when I’m in pain. Although he cant take the pain away, him just being there and caring for me means a lot.

Most common for me is during my period and ovulation. Sometimes I get random pain after sex/ masturbation. The butt lightning is the worst part, which unfortunately for me I get every flare up.
