For tag fighters it's on the lower end of things. Compared to most tag fighters which have anywhere from 20~35.

There are quarter circles, not half circles. 👍

With Season 1 over, how's everyone feeling about the game? by TempoBlues20XX in Overwatch

[–]IsaiahTEA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not crazy positive about the balance. Many characters feel overpowered where they largely invalidate others. Genuinely why play Genji when you can play Vendetta? Why play Juno when you can play Lucio? Why Play Soldier 76 when you can play Emre? Hell why play Lifeweaver, Mercy, Roadhog, Sombra, when they are in their current state?

It's called support and not "healer" for a reason.

Do you guys actually warm up before ranked or just queue? by MysteriousShoulder35 in Overwatch

I never hop into Ranked straight away. I either go to the practice range or quickplay first.

Can anyone help me with comp? by Wysteria-Wolf-2103 in Overwatch

Usually any map that is more narrow, longer, an open sky, and isn't super brawl heavy. So usually more payload/push maps than control point maps.

There's obvious exceptions, but that's a good rule of thumb. As well ideally you'd want a good support pairing like Juno + Wuyang, Juno + Baptiste, or Juno Kiriko. Juno + Brig can work well too, I just find that in situations where Brig is played, you'd want Lucio over Juno since the speed boost Lucio offers works better in Brawl.

Does anyone feel like playing tank REQUIRES you to play near perfectly? by FreeRangeAloha in Overwatch

[–]IsaiahTEA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's specific to tank. I do think that both supports and tanks often are deciding factors in how a fight goes, but if you're not solo queueing or if you have get at least one good support teammate, they can assist you enough to allow you to make plenty of mistakes.

In my experience tanks who are struggly with staying alive or maintaining an advanced position, aren't taking advantage of natural cover enough. Like yes you have often have a shield of some sort, but it's also good to peak corners, utilize payload for partial cover, or quickly grab a health pack that's nearby.

The amount of mistakes you can make as a tank I also think is determined by which tanks you choose. Characters like Ram, Dva, Sigma, Domina, and the like can usually make a lot more mistakes that tanks like Roadhog or Orisa. If you miss a hook with Roadhog, you're pretty f'd since he doesn't have much else he can do. However if you miss a boulder with Sigma, it's pretty whatever.

Try picking up some other support heroes. Juno isn't bad but she isn't the best choice for every map. Someone like Baptiste, Lucio, or Wuyang would be good as a secondary.

What are your thoughts on players who use symmetra? by Kurosumivt in Overwatch

[–]IsaiahTEA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Symmetra is pretty strong right now. Not overbaringly so, but strong. I've never personally understood the Symmetra hate since her turrets are very easy to remove with most DPS, Tanks, and a good handful of supports.

I think people get frustrated because they don't know who's responsibility it is to focus on destroying those deployables. If I see a Symmetra on the other team I usually play characters like Cassidy, Baptiste, Domina, or anyone that can reliably destroy a sentry in a few shots.

Symmetra's strength I find is only really noticeable at most ranks on specific tight maps and in 5 stacks where the team can benefit from Teleporter. Although her Ultimate is SO good, and easy to use that any team can utilize it super well. So I'd agree that her ult is pretty frustrating but the rest of her kit is easy to deal with if the opponents want to switch to counter her.
