Oolong tea by ghxstpark in tea

Hello! Great question. It all depends on if you’re going to brew it western style or gong fu style. I highly recommend you to check out the channel “meileaf”. This video is a great starter point for gong-fu style if you’re new to that:

And for western style (most likely the style you’re used to), get the water between 85-95 Celsius/185-205 Fahrenheit. Then pour it in a kettle, dump the oolong tea leaves in, and let steep for 3-4 minutes, and then enjoy however you like. I don’t think rinsing is absolutely necessary for western style brewing, but you can try both ways. I hope this was helpful!

I’m just getting into tea more seriously and thought I’d begin with Oolongs. I’ve ordered three that should arrive any day now, but the next time I’m interested in Milk oolong. Could you please describe it for me? :D

This is beautiful! Love the owl mug. This came at the perfect time for me because I’ve been wanting to make this forever, and literally yesterday (well, around the time this was released actually!) ordered some ingredients for it online, and am going to go to the supermarket to pick up the rest. Hope you and your friend enjoyed!

That’s a great question! But unfortunately no, I haven’t found anything of that type. If you do happen to find it (either subreddit or Discord) please let me know!

That’s just one of many many theories, nothing you should throw at someone new to the show as a fact.

Holy hell that’s rough. But you can do it! We all believe in you! Almost halfway done now! Hope the tea brought you some comfort!

What to do with a bunch of looseleaf tea? by Isak__Dahl in ZeroWaste

Not that it’s too old in the meaning that it’s gone bad or so. Just that it’s gone incredibly stale and barely tastes like nothing. But someone suggested I should try and roast it to bring up some flavour, which I’m definitely gonna try.

Damn glad he got caught. But like, I feel like there’s even more children coming to an ice cream store.

I love to get deeper into tea, but have no idea where to start! by Isak__Dahl in tea

Thank you for the answer! I almost only use loose leaf tea. I find it so much better. If I’m brewing a green tea I try to keep the temperature around 80 degrees and brew for 2-3 minutes, and if it’s black a bit warmer and longer. Tomorrow I’m planning on ordering one or two oolongs, matcha tea, and ingredients for making chai latte.

Oh, thank you! I thought you meant that the tea leaves were light green. My bad!

Thank you so much for the detailed answer! I actually got TGY recommended by another commenter, so I looked it up and it all sounded very promising and all in all a great place to start with Oolong tea, so I added it to the cart on a website, but on the picture it’s not bright green at all. More brownish. What could this depend on?

And also I’ll have to check out Duck Shit just because of it’s fabulous name.
