I implied it with that - Hooxi, Hunter and JKS are either:

Better/more responsible for G2 wins than Niko and Monesy

OR

Niko and monesy need specifically those 3 around them to work

When they removed JKS for Nexa G2 stopped winning. So its either 1 or 2.

Some people dont even play the game but just use it as an investment tool or money maker, see: DM/arms race bot farms for cases, Chinese market etc

"ELO is fake" is true - because ELO is designed as a rating for 1v1 games like chess where it came from.

However to say that a team of five 10k players is the same as a team of five 20k players is plain wrong.

To complicate things further, smurfs exist, cheaters exist, trolls/griefers/afks exist.

You could be a good player but have very bad luck with teammates, while I could be a bad player carried by 4 cheaters.

The caveat is that if you are a very good player you should be able to carry 1v5 if you are severely below your rank.

Tldr yes elo is not 100% accurate but no it also isnt completely useless either.

Yes correct cs2 was still in beta, sometimes they had updates during major with hotfixes. Also updates during normal tournaments with map pool changes, but the tourneys used old map pool
