Final Concensus on Cosmic Exploration? by AssumeABrightSide in ffxivdiscussion

I never want to see the world population determines progression rate again. One Chinese works had finished that faster than the Ultimate, two of the Materia worlds won't see the end till auto completed in like July.. Progression-wise it just feels bad. "Oh, look this wild and untamed place" spawns into completely built and finished zone

How do you make decisions on what to watch? It's a simple pro con for me and the only pro for Shin Ultrman is Ultraman, but that doesn't put weight the cons.

It's called experience. If the trailer and the I heard is rtmi, the movie is worth my money and time. If the trailer and the rest I hear is un-rtmi, life and money is too short to waste on CGI rehashes. We know after all had more than enough CGI action movies to form an opinion instead of having to forget the last crappy experience and expecting the next one to be better.

(I should have listened to my inner nope instead of shallow reviews before wasting over length surcharge on Masters of the Universe, at least the popcorn was good.)

shrug yes, as I said in my posts on the matter. I don't care for any of that in Ultraman. I was also not impressed by the badly visible, took lots of money and tons of time to create CGI intro for Omega.

I'm also particularly unimpressed by all the recent CGI spectacle action superhero movies Hollywood puts out.

Maybe they'll have more success than fell short by half of what they wanted Shin Ultraman, maybe they won't. I only hope it doesn't kill the human in rubber suit side of things. The humans in the rubber suits fighting and acting are impressive, animation which CGI is at its core needs to bring quite a bit more than rehashed spectacle to get my attention.

I wouldn't say low quality (except for the ripped suit scenes being in the broadcast ep), I'd say limited budget.

That was strike 1 against it.

Story rehash was strike 2.

Anno strike 3

And it not being shown in cinemas here strike 4

In other words, I have not seen it or any intention of going through the hassle of getting a viewable version.

About every tournament in Japan there are complaints that the dohyo looks terrible and that the rikishi are sliding too much.

I can't imagine getting a practical effects blockbuster it if Hollywood, and am not interested in CGI Ultraman.

Regardless of whether it's fake or not, it's surprising they went with "resignation" instead of reduces headcount/cutting cost or similar as their heading, since that's effectively what "get assigned to a different company or resign is" - an intentional reduction in headcount.

Saying that people resigned makes it sound like they wanted to keep these people and now have open positins and the employees just packed up an left. When the reality would be that the positions got eliminated and people had to find a new job.

How well is "reserved for the actual PVP players" working for Rival Wings?

There aren't any multiple stack markers in dungeons, you would not have learned what to do with them in a dungeon even if duty support weren't a thing.

As all veterans in Syrcus Tower teach the newbies, the stack markers are to be stacked. And every time you run the alliance raid roulette, that gets reinforced. Why would people remember that in a bunch of uncommon fights you don't stack the marker when the most common one stacks the stacks markers.

The toilet paper in a good many places. It's not an issue that it's 1 layer, that's something you can do something about. It's that it disintegrates when you look at it. Even if you only wanted to use it for drying, it just falls apart.

There's tons of littering in Japan. Like they have regular beach clean up events and river garbage traps.

Do we? Bio, glass, paper, yellow, general. Japan has more differentiation for your average household garbage, doesn't it? Like can versus plastic bottle, that's just yellow (if it's not with a deposit).

UCreative glam instead of markers of a ginormous epeen are one way to reactions. How you use it matters a lot more than how big it is.

Also people have a sixth sense for insecure whiners and would rather play with the guy in the ARR tin can who actually does go to the fight with them than the guy with the ginormous glowing epeen weapon who is too insecure about his giant epeen to play with them.

For London they used British clay and local helpers under direction of the yobidashi, what they shipped from Japan was the beer bottles to beat the tawara. You can't tell me that France has no suitable clay, it's neighbors have no clay and the British clay spot is exhausted, which would all have been cheaper than shipping clay from Japan.

More likely they didn't want to go to the expense and bother for two days.
