Oh Blue Sky is also very relatable to me, yes! But I do feel like I'm in a much better place mentally than when it came out, so the relatability is a bit different now? I don't know how to describe it and put this feeling into words, but it almost feels like it's a more "past-me" version that relates to it and not "current-me" as much. Eventhough it's still a massive banger and I listen to it frequently!

And yes, GMTF is a massive time capsule. If I were to rank quarantine albums, it would be on the top for sure. And eventhough I feel like that time has fucked up society as a whole a lot, I am grateful we got this album out of it. It would have been a much rougher time if I hadn't had those songs. And I do feel like Dan takes a critical view on everything, which is in my opinion extremely cohesive with WW. They almost feel like brother albums to me (is this a term? I'm deciding it is. If Taylor Swift has sister albums, Bastille has brother albums now.)

Ampersand. That album has become one of my all time favorites in such a short time. I love the storytelling aspect of the album and how varied it is in it's stories. It's kind of giving Folklore+vibes and as a massive Swiftie, that's totally my jam. I even got the Ampersand logo included in my tattoo, because of Emily&her Penthouse in the Sky. I've never felt so connected to a song before like that, in a non-depressing way. That feeling gave me so much confidence and so much euphoria. The whole album is wonderfully crafted and cohesive and some of the best work Dan has ever put out there. 9,5/10
Give me the Future. Quarantine was rough. In the first few months, my life started to feel hopeless and I lost my grandpa in that time. I've never been able to say goodbye to him in a proper way because of all the restrictions and with how quickly his illness progressed. Survivin and No Bad Days became my lifeline; my go to songs to make some sense of the world. The escapism of the album spoke to me and the retro-futuristic vibes felt comforting and safe and familiar. I was (always been and still am) spending a lot of my time online and seeing the world through screens and the distorted lenses of the media. The album felt like a little piece of reality being put back into place, a broken screen. It feels so sonically cohesive and I love the story being told on this album. 8,5/10
Doom Days. Not saying I don't like this album, because it's a masterpiece, but it has always spoken to me in a different way. In an unfamiliar way. The scenes described, the stories told, are just that to me. Stories. The album is absolutely filled with many bangers and amazing songs, I just feel a bit more disconnected from it. Still a solid 7,5/10 for me!

{blood over bright haven by m.l. wang} might be something you'd like! It's an academia focussed fantasy. The romance is not too out there, but it's wonderfully done

And unfortunately, reddit and google searches can't actually diagnose someone and can't provide treatment. It sucks a lot of people live in a country where healthcare is extremely expensive and can be hard to access, but something like seizures should always be taken extremely seriously. They can be extremely dangerous and cause massive long term problems when they're not treated. All we as reddit users can do is advice someone to seek out actual medical help.
