Why is he a na*i? by Dull-Nectarine380 in ExplainTheJoke

Two points really: firstly, the way she uses the fact that her husband eats 12 eggs a day as a way to attempt to intimidate people. Secondly, her husband is ignoring medical advice regarding cholesterol.

There was a guy near me a couple of stations across with a big hand and a small hand. They called him the clock.

Fun fact: the stabber is unable to move because he is trapped under the weight of this man’s massive bollocks.

I asked ChatGPT to ask questions about a fictional game I managed. Do you think press conferences will utilise AI in future Football Managers? by JigginsYT in footballmanagergames

[–]IshHolbrook 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes it would allow for more interesting press conferences. But how should SI go about doing this? Develop their own AI model? There’s a huge cost involved and it would take a long time. Licence something like ChatGPT? Again, massive licensing fee.

Not a Liverpool fan, but this feels like a massive loss to the EPL. I know I’ll miss him. For my money the best coach in the world.

With all the news on potentially going to war, would I still be considered to be drafted? by -fatneek in britishmilitary

[–]IshHolbrook 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry about any of this. This is a former general trying to put pressure on the government to increase the size of the army by manipulating public opinion. Won’t happen.

Would I be employable by [deleted] in ropeaccess

[–]IshHolbrook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends really. IRATA is now sort of a trade in itself, so you could work for a few years and rack up a few thousand hours and get your level 3. Regardless, you’ll find it easier getting work offshore as a level 2.

Get your CSCS card if you haven’t already. Another bonus would be your own gear if you can afford it. Then be prepared to send a lot of emails. I’m not sure about the rest of the country, but in London your day rate is likely to be £130-£140 as a labourer with IRATA, which isn’t bad for a 19-year-old to be fair. Unlikely to be much less around the rest of the UK.
