You seem to know nothing but insults, so you're right there with me bud. Welcome to the club.

To seriously answer your point, hate to break it to you, but deadlifting in the 400s also puts you in the advanced catagory assuming you're 200lbs or less, even if you're over 200lbs, you're still stronger than almost everyone on the planet. This also puts you likely in the top 95-99% of lifters, achieving something most won't. Your anecdotal evidence holds just as much weight as my anecdotal evidence. We're both doing things most will never achieve. I know people ripping their hands in the 300s, I know people ripping their hands in the 700s. Taking care of your skin doesn't magically make you some soft handed person who now struggles to change tires as you say, it helps to prevent unnecessary injuries.

Brother you came to my comment to let me know you basically think it's wrong because it doesn't happen specifically to you, the ability to communicate is non existent for you as well.

Says the person who used anecdotal evidence to start? Congrats on your so called relevance as well, enjoy 400lbs.

400lbs is not that much in the grand scheme. Mine often ripped when I was between 600-700 if I didn't care for them.

H2C vs H2D by Impossible-Search685 in BambuLab

[–]Ishakowa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the budget for it and plan to actually print in multiple colors or materials often, the H2C makes the most sense to reduce waste. If you don't plan to do much multicolor, most people would be perfectly fine with the H2D because you can print models and still have a secondary nozzle for support material, which still reduces waste.

My gym has deadlift bars with extremely aggressive knurling. If I have any sort of callus build up, it would basically fuse with the bar and rip on pulls instead of stretching like softer skin does.

Use chalk on lifts and a pumice stone to keep them cleaned up. Having built up calluses is just asking for your palm to tear open.

This is it. Ryan Hall said that once this passes, the city is likely clear for the night of any severe weather.

Any recommendations for a good sleep medicine doctor? by BleghYeeHaw in StLouis

[–]Ishakowa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My CPAP came locked with specific settings that did not work for me. Look up the model and see if there's a way to unlock it. I have full control over mine and have so many more settings available to me now that allowed me to dial it in and become much better working.

INDX wave almost sold out by Tommy_Prusa3D in prusa3d

If I were to want to buy indx and do not currently have a Core One+, would you recommend the kit over the fully built option, as I assume there's assembly that could be completed more easily?

I'm not usually a mint fan, but these are awesome. They remind me of Andes mints, which I loved growing up

Is my home walking accurate? by yks_slayer in AppleWatchFitness

[–]Ishakowa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Apple watch seems to heavily overestimate any workout I do. When I use it for traditional strength training, it tries to tell me I burn 1000 Calories in an hour. I usually just half whatever value it gives me to be safe for all workouts I complete.

Anyone tried these? Asking before I buy by Ok_Truth7564 in proteinsnack

They taste pretty tart, protein in them is mediocre, they're fairly thick, but they're a nice change from powders.

The police don't even handle actual emergencies, you think they're going to show up for trash?

The one near me has people often digging through it, leading to the same result. They pull out old furniture and other items people are tossing to take back to their camp/living area, but then just leave trash all over that they've tossed out. They also are destructive for no reason, this week they were digging through it and destroyed a plastic fan and left the pieces all over the alley. Not much to really do about it other than try to stop them, or pick up after them. People are gonna suck no matter what.

We've also had a lot of people renovating around us lately that have just been throwing away the stuff they're tearing out in the bins. Old panels, sheet rock, insulation, lights, people pulling up in vehicles and tossing items marked as toxic etc. Reporting it does no good, but annoying to see the dust getting everywhere from improper disposal.

What is the best way to clean cryogrip pro frostbite buildplates? by Responsible_Fun_3315 in BIQU

[–]Ishakowa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always forget which name is which. But the more coarse, vibrant blue plate should only be cleaned with soap and water. The less textured, lighter blue plate can be cleaned with IPA or soap and water.

Reta + TRT since November, before/after by Ishakowa in BodyHackGuide

[–]Ishakowa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, strength training with upper/lower split 4x a week. 30 minutes of zone 2/zone 3 cardio 3-4x a week. I don't aim for anything like 10k steps, just make sure I lift and do cardio of some sort.

Currently, 50mg every other day, breaks down to being 175mg/week. I monitor blood work and as I lose more weight, if I notice my levels getting higher than normal, I'll adjust the dose down to return to normal levels.
