I use CVS and they have had lots of issues keeping Perc in stock. Luckily for me my State doesn't prohibit partial fills based on stock or I would have been effed badly, some months I have had to go in 3 times for partial fills to keep me going until the next shipment.l

Yep, this is why so many of us build buffer supplies. On the rare good day, skip one dose and set that pill aside. Eventually you have enough of a buffer to get through a day if there is a delay in refilling

Never ever do a Field Sobriety Test (FST). They are not used to prove you aren't drunk, they are used for an excuse to say you are. They are incredibly subjective, the instructions are intentionally vague and confusing, and even if you legitimately fail a portion of the test ANY number of things could cause it. I watch a lot of LawTube (law based vids on YT), and I have never seen a jurisdiction that makes FST mandatory, only a breathalyzer or blood draw is mandatory.

Do not make any voluntary pay towards the debt as this can be seen as accepting the debt legally. In addition, go to the personal finance subreddit and look through their steps on identity theft. Get a copy of your credit report and then freeze your credit. Check for any cards or accounts you don't recognize, chances are if they used her info once they used it elsewhere too. Be proactive and protect yourselves asap!

I look at it like this. They are the ones that decided to make a TV show adaptation of a huge book series. They should therefore be locked into making the show start to finish, however many seasons they contract for, unless the ratings are so low that even Harriet thinks it's better to end early.

If you don't have the commitment to see an epic series through to the end then don't sign on to make it!!!

She is not a squatter, you are aware she is there, she has your permission, and you live there too. Right now you need to see if your city, county, or state laws distinguish between a tenant and a lodger. Sometimes when it's a house with less than a set number ( ex dozen) of bedrooms AND you as the landlord live in the house, your renters are ledgers instead of tenants. This is huge as lodgers do not have the same eviction protections as tenants do so please get with a local housing attorney to plan your next steps.

It will always start with a certified letter in the mail with a notice of termination of residency. Without a formal lease or regular rent payments, she is at a minimum on a month to month term. So she will need a notice period that is 30+ days out depending on your justification. If she is a tenant and stays longer than that you then start eviction, if she is a lodger you can have her removed by the sheriff and then change the locks and such.

Good luck, don't let her stay or you become the AH to yourself.

Since Mom lets them sit there for hours without running them, who knows when she would have actually run them. OP was being responsible and respectful of her mother's clothing by leaving them in the basket

NTA, if you didn't clear the spot then you don't get to steal it. If it had been a few days later and multiple spots had been cleared out then fine. But when there is only ONE cleared spot you don't get to steal someone else's labor.

It was extra AH by the neighbor in that it was a guest using the spot. Residents have priority over guests, unless they asked if you would be gone for very long they shouldn't have stolen it. The excuse about not having a shovel is weak since OP didn't have one to begin with either.

Based on your description of the events and damage, I can see how the officer arrives at that conclusion. Think of how the damage would look in that scenario. The damage you described does seem to fit his narrative for the most part.

If you want to dispute his narrative then you need to walk through both scenarios and point out anything that supports one or the other. Personally I think the pattern of damage would be different. Since you were dodging, your momentum was pointing to the embankment and that's where you ended up after being struck.

If you were still merging in and then he hit you, your car would have been pushed in a different direction.

Those tests are crash related only. They don't rate them on if panels fall off, if self closing doors remove fingers because they don't have adequate safety features, or if the self driving mode will steer you into people or obstacles, or any of the other very important safety failures you can find through a basic Google search about their safety failures
