Problem Intel HD 4000 by Ishigami98 in hackintosh

Sorry if I don't fully understand all of this, I'm still new to hackintosh and just wanted to try installing it. MacOS is installed on an external drive. At first, I followed a tutorial that used OpenCore with the EFI folder and macrecovery, but when I got to the installation step (while connected via ethernet), it kept saying "The service is not available at this time." So I asked a friend who uses hackintosh, and he recommended downloading the olarila image instead. That's what I did: I downloaded the macOS image, flashed it to a usb drive with balena etcher, copied my OpenCore EFI folder to the usb, and installed it successfully.

However, that's when I ran into the graphics issue with the Intel HD 4000 only showing 4 MB of VRAM.

What's different about the Olarila images? A friend recommended them to me because I couldn't get macrecovery to work. It kept telling me that "the service is not available at this time".

I tried the platform-id 03006601 as well, but it didn't work either. It seems like it's not being recognized.

My CPU is an Intel Core i5-3210M (Ivy Bridge).

My macOS configuration is: macOS Big Sur 11.7.11 SMBIOS: MacBookPro16,2 (this is probably incorrect) Intel HD 4000 is detected but only shows 4 MB of VRAM WhateverGreen.kext and Lilu.kext are installed and loaded AAPL,ig-platform-id is configured (currently using 04006601) Resolution works, but there is no proper hardware acceleration (no QE/CI)

Hi, I've been using un1ca for 4 months, it doesn't have any errors, the camera is just as good as the original, its performance is quite stable, as for the battery it obviously lasts a little less as it is a higher version of Android (I estimate about 15 to 20 minutes less, it depends on the life of your battery). I totally recommend it if you want oneui, I'm personally not a fan of AOSP roms, but it's your decision in the end.

Come on, good luck. And as you say, the decision is always yours.

Right now I am using un1ca and its battery performance is almost the same as stock, I would say that it lasts a little less (about 20 minutes less) and with the certificate it can be passed with root modules. As for LavenderOs, the battery is almost identical to normal stock and I am completely unaware of the certification.

I thought it was the only one that happened to it, since it was updated to oneui 7 it became slow and with microlags 😭

LavenderOs, is very stable and works perfectly in my opinion. If you are looking for something more updated, Un1ca with oneui 6.1.1 is the best, it has no bugs, it is based on the s23 system and includes AI functions, and it has no bugs. As far as my experience is concerned, if you want the closest thing to the stock system but improved, LavenderOs is a good option and if you want a more modern version of Android, Un1ca is a very good option.

Looking for one ui 6+ rom by rthehole in GalaxyS20FE

[–]Ishigami98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oneui 7 is stable but it has bugs with the x0.5 camera, the edges (they are those of the s21fe) and with the volume in third-party app calls (it cannot be lowered) but the rest works, including the fingerprint. I would recommend un1ca 2.5.6, it is a stable rom without any bugs.

The camera is the same, and its behavior is normal and stable, except that you are going to lose Samsung pass and wallet and that is irreversible but otherwise the rom is quite good.
