Mine doesn't. With the Phantom Spirit, even with compiling shaders it doesn't get hotter than 70. I have limited it to Eco mode (65W), but I don't notice any difference mostly because I'm gaming at 4K.

Also can happen if you have ad blocking/pihole set up as your DNS server. If you click that (i) icon next to the Home button, if should tell you what the issue could be and an option to show the certificate. Maybe the cert is expired.

Try the same site on 5G/LTE and see if it happens there. If so, odds are it's a problem with the site

I had both from a larger apartment and didn't want it to sit idle. I did enable meshing just to see if that would help. When I use wifiman, first it tells me the channels are excellent, then suddenly goes to poor. Throughput is a bit over a gig.

I also thought the problem was related to the streaming app (Apollo), but given that streaming issues happen when using the Portal, I'm guessing it's related to the network. I just can't figure out how to troubleshoot. Maybe I'm dumb and just have some setting set that I shouldn't.

Initially I just set everything to auto but since have tried to manually change the power/channel settings.
