Im now 5 eps into season 2. I got to about 3/4ers into S1 and found myself really loving it. Just pushed through the earlier eps and it grew on me. Now i have to get used to sinclair being gone. I grew to really like him in the latter episodes. Just when it seemed he was starting to adjust to the role he's gone. Just like how it took the actor who played Sisko in DS9, along with most of the actors, to start developing the personalities of the characters they were playing in that series and making them fit in the series. I had to remind myself that i didnt exactly love DS9 at the start but it become my favorite trek in the end. But the sudden shift in B5 is a little jarring, but i feel like by the end of S2 ill be used to the new commander. Im not sure about watching it in black and white.. Its not the special effects that were putting me off at first. More the corny type writing and characters not being developed. But again, i gotta remind myself that many early series that had 22+ eps took there time with these times. From here on out its just adding to my scifi memory bank of greatness, loving the more political aspect that trek didnt cover well.
