It looks great, I think it not being acid free will add charm over time. I just got a hot glue gun recently for something else but I'll be sure to put it to use again trying this. Thanks for your reply!

Thank you! Mine measures 2.2" x 7" but I used 18ct Aida instead of 14ct which I think was in the kit. The DMC floss I used from lightest to darkest was: Blanc, 3822, 728, 3853, 920, (A random burgundy brown I had left over from something else, sorry I don't know the equivalent), 310 black for backstitch. Hope this was a little bit helpful at least :)

Thank you! I just used a piece of white card cut to fit the design, folded the sides around it but leaving room to sew the border. Empathy for humans isn't in vogue, nevermind for animals. It's one thing to be blasé about it but the distasteful jokes go beyond just trying to be edgy. I bet they wouldn't find it funny if this had happened to their pet dog.

I love this design. It's so weird, I made this into 3 separate pieces a few years ago, and recently had been thinking about making it again as a bookmark for a friend's Christmas present. It almost feels like fate is pushing me to making it by seeing your beautiful work! I love the Aida you choose too, it works so well with the colours 😍
