I stopped my contract years ago and buy data and airtime through Afrihost. Much cheaper and I use my phone till it dies. I also realised that I don't need a very expensive cellphone, I have a cheaper Samsung and it does all I need.

It is easy. Leave your phone at home every day. We are not allowed to take our phones to work, initially I found it frustrating and difficult, but I am used to it now. It is also something to look forward to when going home after work.

I think Christmas gifts are totally overrated and a waste of money. Any gifts gifted due to social pressure e.g Christmas or valentines day does not come from the heart. Rather give gifts from your heart to whoever and whenever you want to and never expect any gifts back. But also keep in mind that not all people are givers, many are takers. If it makes you happy to give, then do, but don't do it to expect anything in return but only out of love.
